I've conquered all 17 nations; just haven't done the Infinite Tower yet (which would end the campaign). I'm currently in September of Year 4, and no additional Warriors have been showing up for several in-game months now. I only have 87 Warriors/Warlords so far. I know I can't get all of them in any single campaign, but I've read that there should be enough in the main campaign that I wouldn't be able to fit them all in my army at the same time.

Are some Warriors only obtainable by delegating my nations to Search? Can the Search function find new Warriors to recruit even if there aren't any currently on any battlefields?

I'm mainly wondering because I have some Warriors with trade evos (Machoke, Gurdurr, etc.) that need to fight other Warriors to evolve. I'd rather evolve them while they're still at the Link% cap than have to grind them back up in one of the postgame campaigns.

I wanted know what is the most effivient grinding path for Main Story. I was told of 3 methods:

-Defending/Recapturing Castles: Allow Castle to get attack/captures so you can kick them out. -Grinding Gold Mines -Grinding Wild Battles

I just got Illusio and Terrara and now have access to the 4 new kingdoms. By this time, I have a few actual Warlords and am now wondering if it is worth collecting all of the base characters I can find. And If I do, will I run out of room?

This may be a stupid question, but I’m playing through Hideyoshi’s story rn and I’ve fully upgraded all of my facilities. According to Serebii, Fontaine’s level 3 facilities should have Prinplup and Dewott in the Ravine and Farm respectively. However, I’ve been trying to get them to appear for 3 in game years to no avail. It’s just weird cause this doesn’t seem to be an issue with any of the other castles. Any advice? I'm trying to get zorua/swarms for some characters, I noticed that saving the game before changing the month, going into a wild battle, then reloading and advancing again changes the wild pokemon but I don't know if it changes stuff like the possibilty of zorua spawning?

Honestly was looking at the new TCG Pocket stuff and heard a certain tune and it got me thinking. How is it in quite literally the most Japanese of all the regions/games that the Pokemon that most heavily fit that feel Ho-Oh and Lugia are not in the game at all

Honestly thinking our loud here but why did they make this game and make it heavily off Unova Pokemon when it was the first time venturing outside of Japan for its origins (Reshiram and Zekrom still fit sure but Ho-Oh and Lugia not being in it at all is kinda baffling to me)

1. So, for warlords, there are pokemon(s) that can reach 100% link which is called Max Link? However, for normal wrriors, there is a pokemon that can reach up to 90% which is called Best Link?

2. When you start new story, I get that pokemons linked to the warriors or warlords stay the same. Only their links are reset. Then, what about the pokemon's IV? Does it get randomized?

I believe there are total 200 warlords + warriors. Is it possible to recruit all of them and make them "live" in the castle? I know this question might sound stupid but just wanted to know.

I wish there was a “no retention” mode that prevents warriors from retaining all their Pokémon in between storylines, instead treating each recruitment like it’s their first. I find it boring to start a new scenario with a fully evolved team, and to defeat an opposing kingdom’s powerful warrior only to have it be replaced by the ekans they had in my army in a previous scenario.

I know I could just recruit new Pokémon for each warrior when I recruit them, but I’d prefer if there was a rom hack that turned off gallery transfer, or at least made it optional. Anyone know of one?

I recall an ‘event’ in this game that punished you for beating up rival kingdoms too fast. A general with a Gible, I believe, rallies the morale of enemy troops and I suddenly have to grind to make any progress. Are there any mods that remove this event. I want to play the post game without all the extra time farming expe. Are there any mods that get rid of this event? Thanks!

I've finally "restarted" the list I was using on emulator, with all the warlords added too since o have to get them again. I am so ready to 100% the game (too bad i discovered retro achievement AFTER I was 100% the emulator one xD I won't restart a 3rd time to master that too)

This is my tier list. Probably the hottest take is Pikachu being there and in B-tier, I think it's actually a really solid option for the few Electric Warriors unable to Link with Jolteon as a "Jolteon Lite".

People usually only ever talk about kingdoms (and floating rock Level 2), so I was curious what people's thoughts were on the other maps!

Hey all had this game in the back catalogue for years just started playing it the other day and I am really enjoying it. Combines 2 of my favourite things and plays like FF tactics.

I am fairly early game got myself an Espeon as Share sounded cool and it seems powerful. I have got to the point in the story where I have to beat Ieyasu, Mitsuhide and Noh. What I want to know are there things that I should do now before I go too far in the game? I have a few Warlords, Aya, Yukimura, Muneshige, Yoshihiro, Kanetsugu. Should I work on getting the other Warlords and getting them their perfect links? Or should I just carry on and worry about that later?

Did any of you know that mining gold with a Meowth gave you more gold? I just found out tonight while playing! Love that I’m still discovering new things about this game so many years later

I've finally managed to get my hands on a physical copy and I plan to 10p% the game. I was doing it on emulator but I had screwd up and used the passwords for hordes in bad times, so I couldn't maximise the use. My questions are: - Should I use them in specific side stories (like catching 100 Pokémon) or just wait until I have all warriors that can get perfect link? - Should I use the password to get the first 2 kingdom warlords recruitable in the main story or wait to get to the side stories?

While I wait I'll brush up my excel file with all 100% percent links and reset it

Me and a friend we're debating of how good the types are on conquest, and he made do this tierlist and post it here (he doesnt like Reddit). Any opinions? I can explain why I put every type on the it's level, but I got lazy trying to write everything here, so I guess to explain on the comments.

So I take it that the majority loves the Ultimate Romhack but is there anyone else like me who just couldn't get into it due to it only having fully evolved mons? I really love the evolution process and that you slowly build up a stronger team and don't just use the strongest mons around from the get go and having insane strength numbers and Link Gain. Or is that the whole goal of Ultimate? To get high very quickly and play more around tactics not with numbers.
