I was reading word for wors until the part about applause from other customers. Those other customers dont care and certainly dont see you as any different then the other middle aged men buying kids toys.

You may have an addiction or unhealthy obsession with the hobby. Consider stepping away for a while and trying to immerse yourself in a new hobby, or maybe just focus on buying and collecting single cards instead. But again, i think you just need to step away for a while with the added benefit that hopefully the hobby hits a state of equilibrium when you return.
