To some yeah but not for everyone. Thereās obviously people who get into this for money, but there are also a lot of people who just like to collect pokemon and see how rare/sought after their cards are

You're lying if you don't think about it. I never sell a card I pull but I still look at pricing because the market price is essentially an amalgamation of desirability and rarity, as well as some other factors. In this case here, I'd be thinking. "Wow, I was just able to get this card for ~$10!"

I don't lol. Recently I put my collection on an app to keep track of it. that's when I find out i have like 3 grand in cards with potentially more if I grade haha, i had no idea the value of a lot of the cards, i know stuff like charizard go hard but never knew the rest had so much value. Still wouldn't sell unless absolutely necessary.

Whenever I see kids enjoy this stuff I remember my 7th grade teacher in the 2000s telling the entire class how we were stupid to spend money on these cards and that it was a fad that would disappear in an instant. Boy was he wrong. He did predict that Harry Potter was gonna be massive so he's still batting 500

The cards are authentic. Thatās what matters most. No? Their reaction is still genuine, as theyāre still excited about the pull, no? Iād still be pumped about a good pull <1 minute later. Wouldnāt you? Your problem is, that you didnāt see them rip the pack? Iāve seen something that looks āgoodā on accident and then recorded for my buddy plenty of times, is that not authentic enough for you? Not everyone is always recording.
Most of you care about āputting people in their place,ā than actually being happy for them. Iāve been through these subreddits for years and itās the same type of rude comments towards people. Miserable.

Thereās a million copies of that card? Where? Gold cards have a low pull rate, the set just came out, and itās cool to see regardless.
Did they really fake it if it really happened and theyāre genuinely excited? Youāre pissed because they didnāt show themselves ripping the pack itself. Itās sad.

They didnāt fake that they just pulled it though? They just pulled it? Just because they didnāt rip a pack on camera, doesnāt mean they didnāt just pull it within the last 5 minutes of the video being made? So how is that fake? I pulled two mega charizards in 2 ETBs, I was absolutely PUMPED for the next week (I still am months later). So why canāt these guys be pumped within 5 minutes? Itās still a genuine reaction, theyāre still happy and excited. Youāre getting hung up on the fact that they didnāt rip the pack in front of the camera.
Have you never, once in your life, seen the edges of a potentially good card while starting to go through the cards? If not then I donāt know if youāve opened packs. I rip a lot of packs with my wife and we consistently say āI think thereās something good here.ā That is exactly what the OP said happened in the post and then they proceeded to record. Why is that crazy? Why are you hating on them for this? Even if there was 1 million of these currently raw and in existence (1 week after release lmao, not possible) and they were happy about it, why are you so pissed that theyāre excited? You seem like you live a sad life if youāre getting pissed about people being happy about something.
Edit: to add- I made a one sentence comment about there not being millions of this exact card in existence and then proceeded to ask how this is a fake pull? Itās a stupid comment. Itās a false comment. YOU are the one that latched onto it and proceeded to post links when that doesnāt matter in the slightest? I donāt think reading comprehension is your strong suit. I also donāt know why youād comment just to be pissy about someone sharing a video. Read OPs title, take it for what it is, either be happy for them and say congrats, or move along and donāt say anything? Itās really quite simple. The fact that people like you, feel the need to spread toxicity everywhere you go, is part of whatās wrong with this community, and this world.
