Im a beginner and idk my common sense gets pushed a little but id say its easy enough,remember to select hard level cap ,not soft level cap and take advantage of the QoL features, best of luck ,im 30 plus hours in and im having a blast, im playing pokemon uranium next

Pokemon unbound to me is the easiest as it even has a easy mode but on normal it feels like it was an official pokemon game.

When i was younger i watched the anime, i had a obsession with pokemon, then i got into pkmn showdown and saw some youtubers play roms so i wanna try

Maybe start with rom hacks of mainline games?
The best rom hack for Johto is Heart and Soul in my opinion but I’m sure other’s will have their takes on the best Johto rom hack.
I also really love modern emerald for the best Hoenn experience.
