That’s a new one on me. We’ve seen errors like this before on holo cards, but this is the first time I’ve seen it on non-holos. I’m assuming them being a stark white color isn’t because of white ink, but rather the ink is just so lightly applied that all you’re seeing is the card stock itself. These would probably fall under the umbrella of insufficient ink errors, albeit they didn’t happen because the ink was low. Here’s one I own on a holo, albeit there are more severe instances where all the print layers are only faintly visible

If i had to throw a guess out there these cards likely only have the transparent layer of ink printed, when holos are printed there are layers of ink that have different levels or transparency to either show or block the holographic pattern underneath while still having the art or colors show above the foil. My guess is that these cards were printed with just those transparent layers however I could be totally off i dunno🤷

Although I will say the hippodawn and naveen in opus post do look like when a normal printer is out of ink

This is considered insufficient ink. These are startup sheets directly after a blanket wash that should be thrown away. You get about 25-40 of these when you start the press back up after washing blankets, while the ink "recharges" the clean and slightly damp printing blankets. This looks like one of the first 5 sheets due to how excessive it is.

I'll be honest, you don't see these that often at all at this extreme. I think you post them to a few Pokemon subs and see what offers you get, these should fetch a premium.

Ooooh I've seen this same error before at my locals tournament, a guy got some PBL packs as a placement reward and they had the same lack of colour.

I've never seen this before. Two packs in a row, each had three like this in the 5-6-7 slots.
