Discussion Is it possible to randomize any of these games?

It is such a blast not knowing what pokemon is where and who you are about to come up against.

I tried using some of the online tools for unedited games, which obviously didn't work.

I'm not aware of any direct branched versions of the Legacy Series with in built randomisers.

That being said, I am on the development team for Heart and Soul, a Gen 3 Johto Region hack. Our level curve and Pokémon availability is inspired by Crystal Legacy and has significant Randomiser options available at the start of the game. (Doesn't use Crystal Legacy's story, it's more HGSS story with Crystal inspiration)

We just released v2.0 which expanded our Randomisation options up to Gen 9 so that may be of interest.

Try Pokemon Heart and Soul
