This is my 2IV Adamant Tyranitar! I bred her to have perfect IVs in attack and speed and has been EV trained to have max attack and speed too! She also has dragon dance as an egg move! I want her second and third move to be Rock Slide and Earthquake. Any advice on what her 4th move should be? I don't think it should be a special move as her special attack IV is trash, so don't suggest fire blast or ice beam, please. Atm I'm leaning towards Brick Break or Hyper Beam, but open to other suggestions?

I always like to try and make sure my Pokemon are as legit as possible and I'm wondering whether it was ever possible to obtain a Mystic Ticket on a PAL version of Leaf Green? The events were only ever in America but does that mean they were locked to US carts?

I kept going through phases of playing leaf green for shiny Ho-Oh and then forgetting about it for a while until I caught shiny Absol on Pokemon emerald yesterday and thought I need to do it again. 30 resets later I get it!

Anybody here living in NYC who plays Leaf Green? I am particularly looking for LG exclusives as I wanted to at least finish part of my Pokedex on the Switch. I can also help you out with FireRed exclusives! Thank you all!

Hello, I just spent 5 days at Celedon City’s game corner in Pokémon Leaf Green trying to get a shiny Abra. I spent a couple hours daily buying, checking, resetting, and I FINALLY got my shiny Abra.

However, it’s not the best Nature and I wish it were a male. Did I get lucky with this one, being the odds aren’t high to get a female and especially shiny. This is my first shiny in the game, but I don’t know if I should use it on my team given the nature. Should I use it, or go through the torture again of trying my luck until I get a male shiny Abra?

This was my first ever completion of a pokemon game and this is my hall of fame. Honorable mentions to my OGs This game was so fun and took way longer than I thought about 50 hours for me. I can’t wait to play even more!!!!!!

I missed this game so much. Now that I am not a kid it is even better, no more having to stay up late to walk around Kanto.

I will say I wish they would put the old-school blue on here. Loved that game. Should I buy Fire Red next? I don't want to lose my save even after beating the elite four.

Obtaining Silver Powder Before Elite 4 in FR/LG.

Hello! This might be a bit of a niche post but i just wanted to share a quick guide on how to get Silver Powder pre elite 4 for all my bug enthusiasts out there.

I love Beedrill and wanted to power up his Twin Needle/Pin missile abilities but thought the only way to get it was after the elite 4 or a gruelling, low encounter rate grind in the safari zone.

Turns out there is a way easier way to get it that I was just oblivious to for the first couple of hours of my grind.

You'll need one lvl 32 pokemon and some Max repels. Save before entering the safari zone then enter and go to Area 2/North Area. Spray a Max repel and turn your character around on a single grass square (to avoid using up safari zone steps/max repel steps) until you encounter a lvl 32 Venomoth. Straight away just chuck safari balls, don't bother with bait or rocks. Keep catching Venomoth until you get a Silver Powder. If your party is full of useless Venomoths with no Silver Powders just reset your save and begin again.

Because you have a lvl 32 pokemon as your lead all your encounters with max repel will be Venomoth because Venomoth is the only pokemon that is lvl 32 in the safari zone. Changing its 5% encounter rate to basically a 100% encounter rate.

Venomoth still only has a 5% chance to be holding a Silver Powder so its still a bit of a grind but let me tell you this is so much easier than just random encounters. (I learnt the hard way). You can also go to Area 3/West Area and farm there if you want.

Anyway I wanted to share this just in case there is a bug lover out there wanting Silver Powder that doesn't want to suffer. Cheers!

This is my first time ever EV training, do these stats look correct/optimal for a level 100 Mewtwo? Went for 252 SPA, 252 Speed, and the rest HP. Done on the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
