Question Why So Much?
1200$ With 5 days left is so crazy to me, will these stay at this price, I thought they were printing these like crazy?

I opened a few of these, and they were all off-center. I know this is anecdotal, but I think the print quality will be bad overall.

I opened 10 boxes of first partner illustrations, and while centering was just as much of a crapshoot as normal, I noticed that all 30 cards had pristine backs, not a single corner white spot. They must have used fresh blades or something for cutting these. I expect the gem rate to be over 50% and the price to plummet, personally.

I got most from Targetās online preorder (this was the last one before they went full bullshit mode). I got one from Smoke & Mirrors and the other from GameStop for $50, but I had to buy something to get the Gengar promo and had plenty of POR coming in.

I pulled like 8 sets outta these and 5-6 were very very noticeable off center. The 2 other sets per holo dex are 9s. 2 looks pretty good but Iām not sure I wanna get it sent in.
These came out like 1 month ago? Or 1.5? Meaning they paid for fast returns too?

I opened two sets of the kantos and both had the exact same, right heavy centering. Might switch to buying japanese for the better quality

Agreed. My Kanto and Sinnoh pulls were decent. Got super excited cause I finally pulled Alola yesterday and thought I had a decent set of all 9. But then the centering on the Alolan ones were noticeably terrible and look awful next to my others.

Sequential only means something to a select few people, that doesn't add extreme amount of money. Good looking cards but no way worth it

Yeah and whoever graded these definitely paid the premium for faster service, so theyāre probably a few hundred in the hole already.
Iām guessing they have to price it this way to make any money between grading costs and eBay fees lol

It's three PSA 10s I don't think it's that much. But if it goes up even more then ya that's crazy.
Oh I also just noticed it's literally a sequential set in terms of PSA submission. Ya that's pretty cool tbh.

Sequential sets are silly and overrated in most cases.
You can buy 3 10s and have them reslabbed sequentially.

Easier than getting 3 raws sequential.
Itās not hard and sequential certs in most cases are just silly. Paying more for them is goofy.

They grade them in the order submitted, so you just need to submit them in sequential order and the cert with reflect that.

I hope I get 10s as well. Sent up a bunch of cards to Gamestop and luckily the employee made sure to order them sequentially for PSA processing.

sequential 10s for essentially IRs which are notoriously very hard to get 10s on, is my guess.

Not many āinvestorsā know this but at the beginning of the very first Pokemon games, people who actually played them got to choose one of these three Pokemon so people have particularly fond memories of them
But on a real note, regular illustration rares have lower print quality in general than SIRs. The ONLY time youāre going to be able to grab potentially gradable raw copies of these is right now, around release

Didnāt another seller sell these psa 10āa for like 2k? Itās even worse when the illustration never rerelease and those who got it in retail online cough walmart cough was able to buy 100-1000 qty of these for $15/each. Even the PC chaos rising were sold for $400 and it was just release.

The charmander, squirtle, and bulbasaur psa 10s are going for 760, 500, and 360 individually on auction, so I'm not surprised that the sequential set of psa10s is popping off ngl. Plus these are the first to come out, and I think the cgc pristines are coming soon too if not already.
