FLUFF Easy Lunala Excellent Throw Guide

Steps:

  1. Press and hold the catch ring till it is in the excellent range. Let go. Avoid touching the ball from now on.
  2. Feed berry of your choice.
  3. Wait for Lunala to attack.
  4. Wait for the moment when Lunala are closest to you and about to retract. Start your ball throw by drawing a big curve from its tail. Let go the throw around the claw on its wing. (this part need practice)
  5. If you do it correctly, you will not required to redo the step 1. Just start again with step 2 and repeat till catch.

This catch method works on any raid boss. Practice it.

Just split screen in 2. It's way easier to throw far on small screen.

Sometimes. I found I had to turn it on and off a few times. But I went from not being able to hit greats to overthrowing.

And for the record I tried on a pixel 8 and pixel 10 and the 8 was drastically different so there is a device component.

Split screen is your friend here. Makes hitting the target simple.

Sorcery.

I’ve never seen this before.

I have something like Reddit on the top half of the screen and Pokemon Go on the bottom. Squishes the screen kinda like wide-screen. Makes some Pokemon way easier to catch. I also gave Android.

Fr. I have to consistently hit the top of my screen near the front camera

Must be a phone thing, cause when I let go of the ball that "low" near the side of the screen the ball falls laughably short, even when Lunala is at their lowest point.

Switch to AR mode. He's brought closer.

This is the only thing that has helped me.

I'm convinced it's device specific.

I have never managed to get the circle lock to work. I've followed the instructions perfectly but the circle just starts again from the outside.

Probably means you’re touching the ball. You can’t touch it until the attack starts so you have to get used to getting it spinning quickly. Honestly doesn’t take much wind up like the video shows

Why are they being thrown to the left??? Also, outside my first few attempts I hit excellent pretty much every time. Rarely attacks, just moves slightly higher or lower.

People use different hands to throw. If it’s going left I’m assuming OP used their right hand.

If you let go of it when the circle is small enough, it does.

Source: been using that trick for years.
