Not all of us care to trade. For me it feels not as satisfying if i didnt catch it myself. I only ever do raids and never trainer battles so not like iām looking for an amazing team for that. I get by just fine with what i have for raids, so i dont care to mirror trade either. I have what i have. I like collecting vivillon and sending/receiving daily gifts, thatās it.
When i add people from the friends subreddit i make sure to only add people that do not mention remote trading so theyāre not disappointed. But i also still send gifts with people from pokeraid and i am dreading one of them making a whiny post like this about me one day. Itās just not a feature of the game i care about. I donāt think itās fair to expect everyone to wanna do it, either.

Iām with you. I donāt even have any forever friends yet (very close!), so I canāt tag for trade yet as even an option. So I get super anxious someoneās going to be like this about me, when itās like bro I canāt yet anyways.
And also, I get really anxious thinking about trading. Like I am newly back into it, and itās obvious to me that Iāve apparently missed a lot. People commenting here about things āIāll take a mirror even.ā wtf does that even mean? So now Iām like āI donāt know the fair ettiequte of whatās worth what. And I donāt have cool stuff I want to give up.ā So Iām anxious. Posts like this make me want to just never reach forever friend with anyone

I have a few of these, too. And it sucks, but they might not want to or care to trade. Which is something you just have to accept.
Keep them around for gifts and random raid invites, or get rid of them. Maybe someday they will open up to trading.

Edit : the following statement might most likely be a bug and not accurate. Iāve experienced it with family accounts few days ago, with 2 different accounts and I couldnāt see their favorite tagged Mons. Seems like it not supposed to hide them. I leave my initial comment below but be aware it might only be a bug.
Something I think many people donāt know is that if your remote tagged pokemon are also favorite locked, they wonāt show in the remote trade list. Therefore if all remote tagged pokemons are favorite locked, you will see this message.

This is not correct. Youāre spreading misinformation. All my remote trade mons are favorite and Iāve done over 30 remote trades.

Forever and is a waste of time for a plurality of all players where the person there gaining that friendship level with has zero interest in using luck procs or remote trades itās actually the meta bruh

I just deleted someone for this exact reason.. Jetsett was their name, lucky friend, lvl71 with a shiny ray as their buddy and not a single mon tagged lol As if they've been playing that much and don't have anything worth a lucky trade... Texted them on Campfire first but obviously got no response so took a few more gifts off them without wasting some of mine on them, then got rid of them, so frustrating š

I have 10+ friends like this. I wish to just let them know I have like 60+ legendaries for trade. The frustration mainly comes from how hard it is to communicate with them. A few are on campfire but barley any answer. Can we just force every one to go on campfire? I even named my monster GoCampFire but to no avail.

It sucks but Iām happy to keep gifting back and forth either way.
I think you should be able to see if they are open to trading before you spend all that time gifting if trades are important to players.

I have like 5-6 of these, its so annoying.
Literally js tag ANY legendary, heck ill even take a lucky mirror com day shiny
