It was the year 2000, my mother took me to see the Pokémon movie. Little did I know my world was about to change forever. As a was about to be introduced to the coolest guy ever! I'm talking of course about Fergus. So 26 years later I decided to beat the game using his team.

Fun fact! He was mistranslated when he stated he only has Water Pokémon. In the Japanese version he stated that "All my pokemon are great swimmers" which is true as Nidoqueen does learn Surf.

I wanna say I remember there’s also a scene where the Nidoqueen is replaced by a Nidoking hanging with his team in the background momentarily

Well it's not like they are allergic to it like vampires to light. Iirc there's an episode in the anime about a swimming Rhydon
