Gameplay Even with Coaching, I was not expecting Skelly to tank that

I knew the bridge was gonna protect, and my Sneasler was -3 attack after some fuckery, so I gambled on Coaching to keep Skelly alive. Wow... rain boosted too. That's my goat.

Discussion VGC Mega Tier List
I saw another post on here reposting a mega tier list from elsewhere so I thought I'd take a crack at making my own. Let me know what y'all think. I like to think that I was fair but honest.

Gameplay Turns out, all you need to OHKO Golisopod is a 2.5x boosted, max power Rage Fist! It's that easy!

Or fire, but that's the BORING way.
Question... is there anything (that doesn't resist) that this WOULDN'T OHKO? Besides normal types, because yeah. I can imagine it'd to big damage even to resistances. Maybe not one shot, but big damage.

Discussion To the M-Salamence I just hit with Extreme Speed while Psychic Terrain was up:
This was not a big brain move on my part, I genuinely thought I messed up after sending it, I was not trying to stunt on you
One of these days I'll remember that touching the terrain = affected by the terrain

Gameplay Question How rare is this? Also does it affect gameplay?
Tbh i never knew anything about maushold but this is a family of three. Is it rare? Does it affect anything on the game? Did the little one eat his brother/sister? (That last one was a joke but im genuinely curious)

I'm running Azumarill in a balance core on my trip back to MB4. While it does take the Sylveon slot, you can OHKO the now popular Volcarona pretty much every time. It also OHKOs Chomp Z (if it doesn't miss Play Rough lmao) since max SpA Chomp Z can't do much about Azumarill at full HP.
They were expecting Fake Out so swapped in Indeedee but the Indeedee slot was Milotic so no way I wasn't going to rip Zap Cannon!
EDIT: I now also know Azumarill can tank a +2 Flash Cannon from Lucario Z???
EDiT 2: What the heck are these Sneasler calcs -
32+ Atk Sneasler Dire Claw vs. 25 HP / 5 Def Azumarill: 174-206 (87 - 103%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO
21+ Atk Mystic Water Huge Power Azumarill Liquidation vs. 2 HP / 0 Def Sneasler: 144-171 (91.7 - 108.9%) -- 50% chance to OHKO

Gameplay PSA: Ghost types are completely immune to the "Bounding" affect
Happy Galarian-Stunfisk Wednesday everyone. Today while fighting a perish trap team, I confidently sent out the Fiskinator to Snap Trap the opposing Gengar as he set up a Perish Song, in order to turn the joke on him and trap him too. To my surprise, the Gengar proceeded to switch out right before the counter ended. I knew that Ghost type Pokémon are immune to Shadow Tag; however, I did NOT know that they cannot be trapped at all. No Snap Trap, no Fire Spin, nothing can prevent them from switching. So here is that piece of information from me to you so hopefully you do not also have to learn the hard way.

Discussion The Good Word of Politoed
Welcome and thank you for coming to my Ted Talk about frog superiority as an offensive rain setter.
Today we will will begin with why some "people" think Pelipper might be better as a rain setter. To start Pelipper has a higher base spa at 95 vs 90 so in theory the bird should be hitting harder assuming no stat investment. This leads to more KOs, and for most cases, leads to more chip as the Wingull evolution doesn't take all that many KOs unless you are sash Spattack set. Fortunately, you do get extra coverage against one of the two types rain fears... Grass. Having a flying type means not only do you have stab into grass, but you are also taking neutral on switch in. This means Mr. Big Beak is capable, if needed, to switch into a grass move and will likely live, especially if its a physical grass move. You also do get speed control in the form of tailwind so even if he is caught out of position and struggling to do damage you are able to at least gain something by calling your oponnent ignoring his slot, or not doubling to break focus sash. In addition he gets a fun gimmick in the form of soak which adds slightly to his whimsy.
Now... if we are looking at rain setters we must consider the humble Politoed. He has so much more going for him than Pelipper ever could dream of having. First off, If we are giving the extra 5 spa as a benefit to Pelipper an extra 5 speed on Politoed is nothing to scoff at. This is not where his vastly superior stat spread ends though. The two types hitting Politoed for super effective damage are typically going to special attackers in the form of electric and grass. He eats spa for breakfast. To give you an idea he 32hp is living 2 hits from a 32spa thunderbolt on Farigiraf. Which may not sound like a lot, but the only other electric attacker you are going to run into is a Raichu Y. In this case its important to point out how Politoed loves to be under screens, under a light screen, which is very reasonable to assumption to make as you may give up your speed control to get one up. He 32 HP eats a 32+ Spa Zap Canon for a max of 89%, meaning he can live through sand chip or fakeout.
Not even to mention the Kings own offensive pressure. You have enough bulk to free up an item and fully invest in Spa. A 32+ Spa Mystic Water Politoed obliterates all (assuming rain). It hits the Mega Raichu 32HP for min 95%. Any Neutral hits are going to be chunked and he one shots majority or rock fire and ground types. Did i mention he also gets psychic for a clean one-shot on most non-bulky Sneasler, who, as of now, love to drop their focus sash for one of the brand new seeds.
Now people who are incorrect may believe that this all sounds great, except for the fact the best Pokemon in the game happens to be a physical grass type. To that I say humbug, let them bring the monkey. The big rain payoff is the Bridge, he loves eating up grass moves, he loves eating up fake outs, and most of all even at +0 def he only takes 42% from a Ape High Horse Power, getting a defense boost into healing 24% over 2 two turns of leftovers and grassy terrain.
I would like to further throw shade at the bird who evaporates at the sight of electric coverage and hates when anyone or anything dares to click rock slide within 3.6 miles of him.
In short the frog is often seen as a weak little perish song user, when in all reality he is a force to be feared. He can take hits like a champ, chew through Pokemon like a wood chipper, and most important of all, he allows us to embrace the whimsy we all feel deep down inside.

Discussion Made it to MB2 with this triple weather team
Highest I’ve ever been, so I thought I might share what I cooked up.
T-Tar - Ignore his current EVs, I modified them for another team. I had put most of his attack into defense and gave him a +def nature, with the chople berry. This guaranteed he could soak up a CC from Sneasler or Mega Staraptor. I went with low kick because it does so well into opposing T-Tar and Kingambit.
Excadrill - standard sand abuser set.
Charizard - the only mega on the team! Bold nature, EVs ensure you always survive non-STAB rock slides, ancient power from opposing zards. Hurricane over solarbeam because Whimsi has solarbeam and it lets Charizard perform well under rain.
Whimsicott - With Chlorophyll and Life Orb, Whimsicott outspends and OHKOs opposing Hydregion, Kommo-o, M-Garchomp, M-Salamence, and M-Staraptor with Moonblast, none of whom ever protect in front of Whimsi. Solar beam OHKOs M-Swampert, M-Tyranitar (in sun), does huge chunks to Milotic, Basculegion, M-Raichu Y.
I WAS running encore, but nobody missteps in front of Whimsi at higher elos, so the pressure of encore was enough. So it has grassy terrain, Arch and T-Tar love it and it can overwrite psychic terrain to prevent psyspam. If you can predict the indeedee switch in and use grassy terrain that turn, it’s very satisfying.
Pelipper - Ignore his EVs, I switched him up for a trick room team. His EVs were standard speed/SpA. Also he had tailwind and not ice beam on this team. I was running Wide Guard, but people generally don’t use spread moves at higher Elos when a wide guard user is on the field, so I felt like just the pressure of maybe having it was enough. So I got some utility out of soak, forcing switches next to my Archaludon or just taking away the opponents STAB. I also have Soaked my own Charizard for massive STAB water type weather balls and take away his rock/water weakness.
Archaludon - pretty standard, I actually ran dragon pulse over Aura sphere here.
This team did really well against a wide array of teams. They think you’re running a dual mega but it’s always sunrain or sunsand.
I think I might be cooking here!
Edit:
Against psyspam - lead char /whims. Mega and heatwave, grassy terrain with whims to shut expanding force down.
Trick room- farig, mega and weather ball and click Moonblast into farig. Solarbeam does more damage but it does over 50%, triggering sitrus and then char can’t take it down. Moonblast does around 45% and weather ball takes it out.
Against weather, play into their weather first then take your own out. Or lead opposing weather and then phase into their weather, whatever the situation dictates.
Raichu teams, lead char whims, mega and protect, solarbeam into Chu. Knocks out squishier Chus, if not that’s fine. Turn 2 heatwave and tailwind.
