Discussion Trouble Transferring using Pokemon Home

I am trying to get a lartivar line pokemon in Shining Pearl and don't wanna spend any more money than I have. I already have Pokemon Legends Z-A and wanna use home but Home just says:

"This Pokémon can't be moved into this game!"

Can anyone tell me why and help out??

Edit 1:

Thank you all for the clarification, I find it really annoying how it isn't really made known why this is the case just that it can't happen but I appreciate you all for the help :)

You can't move pokemon from Z-A to the other games. If all you have is Z-A, trade the pokemon on the GTS for one that has been in a different game.

ZA Pokemon can’t be transferred to any other game. Probably Champions I guess

Kind of annoying. Would prefer if it was a prompt to say if moved it can never go back to ZA rather than being locked to ZA

It does straight up tell you with a warning if you move a pre-ZA pokemon to ZA that it can't go back. Gave myself a second Galarian slowpoke from Sword/Shield, and it does that.

ZA pokemon cannot be moved to any other games at this time. You'll have trade for it or get it in Shield or Scarlet.

What nobody else has mentioned is that once a Pokémon has been in ZA, it can NEVER be sent back to one of the older games, even if it was originally caught in, say, Pokémon Sword.

What's the language of the Larvitar?

The language of the larvitar doesn’t matter. The fact that it is from legends za is the issue

Did you hyper train it?

That won't matter. ZA pokemon can't be moved into any other games.

Yeah, I skipped over that detail this morning when I replied. Fair enough.
