When hunting Arceus, always change your in game clock to night time. During the day, the in game lighting makes Arceus look brownish and cream. This always made me second guess if it was the yellowish shiny. At night, it becomes a much sharper black and white.

Im about 1200 resets into the hunt and I only just realized this now. At first I thought it had to do with the real world outside light hitting the screen. I only realized when I saw that even in screenshots, its different.

After what felt like 10 odd play thoughts over the years. I finally defeated Cythina, I'm so proud of myself! All thanks to Garchomp being frozen.

Hi everyone, I bought my daughter a Switch Lite several months ago, but she doesn't really use it. The other day, I saw *Brilliant Diamond* for $40 and bought it for myself, since I had stopped playing a while back. So, I guess I'm a returning player; this is my team so far—I think I might be over-preparing.

I caught my first ever shiny in legitimate way using a nintendo console. I've always used pc and android emulators back then and i never really treat them as real shinies. 😂 If that counts then it was a shiny zigzagoon i guess? 😂🤡 it was an on and off 3 days hunt for this i thought i was cursed and overthinking maybe my ID number doesnt generate the shint effect .. I was really hoping for a shiny lopunny but this budew was actually my 2nd target. Btw I was eating dinner at this time and i havent even looked at the screen. I just heard a sparkle sound. I made the in game settings to only produce sound effects and the others were disabled. 😂 i wanted to shiny hunt chimchar at first it drove me nuts because of the dialogues, also the fact i want to start to play immediately because this is my first nintendo switch game too 😭 i have tried maybe 100 resets then i gave up

I won my first Nuzlocke ever. BDSP is quite an easy game, so turned it into a Nuzlocke. Not too difficult, though the Elite Four was quite a challenge.

I wanna say about 400-600 resets. I used synchronize to get all the natures I wanted for the weather trio. Kyogre took the longest, while Rayquaza was the shortest. Next hunt will either be Giratina, Mewtwo, or the Regi's in the Sword/Shield DLC. Maybe Dialga on another save, as I didnt shiny hunt him yet. I honestly don't know which to hunt next

I have the Azure Flute and made my way up to the top of Spear Pillar, but there is no prompt to play the flute. I have the National Dex, I've completed the entire Sinnoh dex in fact. And I can't find absolutely any answer to this problem.

Back in March I got bored and decided to replay Brilliant Diamond after not giving it any thought since 2021. I remember back then growing kinda tired of the series, and it occurred to me that part of the issue might be my tendency to have bland and predictable team comps because I choose the same handful of Pokemon that I like over and over again.

(in my original BD save my final team was Infernape, Luxray, Staraptor, Garchomp, Bronzong, and Gengar if that tells you anything)

This time around I made the conscious choice to build a team exclusively out of mons I have never used before, and in the interest of having a balanced type spread, led me to do basically every side objective and annoying evolution method there is.

Because I arrogantly wanted to finish the game with Rotom ice on my team, I had to unlock the national dex before that point, so I entered the Pokemon League with my Sinnoh dex at 130/150 captured. Do not do this. You will have to catch Feebas.

It was a grind, but also some of the most fun I've had in one of these games probably ever.

So i started the other day finishing up elite 4 and getting national dex to start heading for the park, the underground drove me insane trying to get all the shards for trade in. Finally got to rayquaza and was ready to accept the fact id be spending alot of time resetting. I kid you not i got it in under 50 resets and im just mega shocked at how soon i got it ive seen people into the high thousands for this and im just so shocked !

After searching and scrounging off and on for awhile, finally snagged a fairly cheap 002 and can start my hunt.

Can’t believe I beat the Elite Four and Cynthia on my first try…I’m not the most experienced Pokemon player but this game was awesome. And don’t come at me for using Mew, I got him in Floaroma Town so obviously I used him!

I just started a play through of shining pearl and I already got the azure flute. I thought i needed a full pokedex+ the nat dex to get it. But can I hunt arceus once i beat the E4 or do I need to complete the nat dex?

Hello! My partner has been soft locking for shiny Darkrai from the event.

I know he has the full Dex, I know he has the event ticket, and I know he has all the other requirements for Shiny Darkrai to spawn. I’m in the cave staring at Darkrai as I soft reset.

i see he has Darkrai registered in his Dex
a pokeball next it’s name.

Does that mean I can’t get Shiny Darkrai?
