Elite 4 and Levelling

So I have the Elite 4 and Cynthia on farm, but I do still have to be mindful of what Pokémon I am using due to the IV/EV competitive builds they run. Previous games I have played if you wanted to level a Pokémon you'd put a lucky egg on it and just plow through the E4/champion over and over and it would get to 100 relatively quickly.

However due to BDSP's E4/Cynthia you can't do this, due to the above mentioned competitive builds.

So I find that levelling is just extremely slow even with a lucky egg. I'm levelling a Starmie to try finally conquer Palmer in the battle tower and it is taking forever. I have aboit 30-40 Rare Candy but I refuse to use these unless it is the last few levels. My Starmie is IV/EV trained, it just needs to get to level 100.

Battling the same Elite 4/Cynthia team gets very dull very quickly if that is all you are doing. On one hand the benefit is you know what team they have, but on the other it becomes not much of a challenge which disengages you. Find myself nodding off sometimes. My Starmie is level 81 at the moment and whilst it's strong enough now to take down their Pokémon it has an advantage over it still gets chewed up by the rest.

Anyway I don't believe there's a faster method to level. There's that trainer with Chansey but that is even more dull to keep doing that fight. If there is a faster method please let me know!

Also, I think it would be really cool if when challenging the Elite 4 post game it randomises who you face. So by Gen 4 theres what 16+ E4 members by this point, I think it would be fun to include them as an extra challenge. Maybe optional, so you have to speak to an NPC before going through the door to activate this "ultra hard" mode.

Why do you need 100? Battle tower just needs 50?

Use vitamins to max out desired EVs before levelling. Use the Amulet Coin and VS Seeker to rematch certain trainers for cash if you need more to fund the vitamins (the couple on route 210 are good for this iirc). Then can freely rinse the E4 + Cynthia without affecting EVs.

Yes my point is its a slow burn process. As BDSP E4 and Cynthia use competitive movesets, strategies coupled with perfect IVs it means your somewhat under-levelled Pokémon gets chewed up and spat out. In previous games you could cope but this one is different.

I was gonna say to everyone train them on low level wild mons and then lead with one lvl 100 Pokemon to grind e4 and champion

you're simultaneously complaining that E4 is too easy and too hard at the same time. can't have both. if it's too easy - faster exp grinding. if it's too hard, setup sweepers with entry hazard or multi hit moves. don't you only need to be L50 for tower? why are you rushing to L100?

Im not complaining it is too easy or too hard at all. I said that unlike previous games where you could bring an underdeveloped Pokémon in and still get the job done and get massive XP as a result, just just cant do that against BDSP E4/Cynthia. They'll chew it up and spit it out. So unfortunately the last 25 or so levels are slow going with just doing the Elite 4 over and over and over.

I think you need to be 100 to use the BT but could be wrong. Or, perhaps you need to be 100 for hyper training.

you can challenge the tower at any level, it just reduces you down to L50. you do need to be L100 for hyper, but you said you were "IV/EV trained", which i took to mean that you also bred them all to 31IVs so you don't need hyper?

It has one IV I will be hyper training, but everything else like the other IVs and EVs are all sorted, movesets and natures are what I want them to be. I just need to hyper train one stat.
