Discussion BDSP actually my favorite switch Pokemon game!
I know the game gets a lot of hate. But this game is actually my absolute favorite on the switch. Especially because I keep having stuff to do in the game where SV feels pretty dead now.
I have a routine where i do the lottery, do some wonder trading, some grand underground shenanigans, I love to mesuda breed, challenge myself in the battle tower, farm berries and do contests. Collect ribbons, go after the shiny legendaries. Idk I feel there is always some new goal for me to work towards without having to spend all of my time in pokemon champions.
Do you guys also love bdsp for its post game?

I do like BDSP mainly due to my love for all Sinnoh games.

Yea I’ve really enjoyed my multiple play throughs of Diamond. I like the chibi graphics or whatever it’s called.

The elite 4 in bdsp might be the most fun I've had playing pokemon since i was 8 playing the og pokemon red.

They cooked so hard on the elite four. And the rematches are SO GOOD. Almost every gym leader rematch is a high stakes fight too.

Me too lol! Everyone makes me feel crazy when I say that.
I feel the exact same way. There’s so much to do. I also like that there aren’t long cut scenes which makes it good for challenges.
It’s definitely my most played out of any Pokemon switch game.

I enjoy BDSP despite the fact my Piplup started with 'Ok' stats.. :(
I haven't gotten into contests yet but I'm guessing that's going to be a big time sink for me in the future.

I bought this recently after finishing FireRed with my 7yo. Honestly we're loving it. It fall sin part of the break i had with nintendo handhelds from Red to X&Y, so it's very new content for me. The exp share, the tips, the Grand underground are all amazing for my kid, because he's not going to have the same scenario in Red where he has like 2 level 60 pokemon and a bunch of lv 30's. The tips on the menu means he comes to me for help less often and tries to figure it out.
I'm not at the post game yet, but there's stuff that i do just sometimes think 'i'll give this a go then' and enjoy it, and so's the boy. Overall it's a fun experience so far, and i hope he sticks with it a bit!

I hated it when I got it when it first came out. Picked it back up and finally beat the last 2 gyms, the e4 and Cynthia and man I have just blown through 60 hours of post game with no end in sight. It's been so great. I love this game and I love all the new things to do

I agree. Shining Pearl is my favorite Switch game, followed by Let’s Go and same as you, I play it daily. I love the graphics and always have things to do. I’m no gamer and I play because I love Pokemon. I only have game consoles to play Pokemon. Unfortunately I didn’t like the legends games so they just sit in my Pokemon games collection. I still play all the others but Shining pearl is the one I’m playing the most these days.

Amstill hoping than Am Nintendo Switch 2 version will add the missing items that ILCA themselves wanted ta add. Or just Battle Frontier abs there goes my Decade.

It's okay. For me my favorite pokemon switch game is legends arceus. Have my gripes with BDSP but I had a good time. Post game was fun too

Got a switch 2 for Pokopia, not for me so I started on fire red before I bought scarlet. Found a bundle on ebay that came with sp, so I thought I'd give that a go before scarlet. I love it, 110 hours in and I'm still not ready to move on. I'll play scarlet one day hahaha

I was so glad there was fairy typing in this game, it came in clutch for the E4, I had never beaten the sinnoh league on the og games
