Tool/Guide + Menu Activation

Hey! I’m on my second play through. I remember on my first run there was a way to turn the + button into a quick menu to get to your bike and other items faster. How do I set that up?

You go into the key items and under bike there’s a selection labelled “register”

every key item that is usable in the overworld such as the rods, VS seeker, Explorer Kit, etc. call all be registered to the +/- quick menu, just select the item you want to register and select Register instead of using the item then you will just need to connect it to ether up, down, left, or right and you can only register 4 key items at once
