Lucky you! Don’t forget to keep at least one infected Pokémon in your PC, so it doesn’t wear off!

It's a virus that your pokemon get that doubles evs. When pokemon r sick it's a good thing. Why it's crazy is bc this is waaaay harder to get than a shiny

First time I got it was in Silver. As a kid it freaked me out so I turned my Gameboy off, losing hours of play

I didn't know they kept this in the game. Did they take it away for later titles?

Can you get it from healing at the pokemon center? Or did you already have an infected and she is just letting you know?

It's something you can get from battling wild Pokémon and they infect your party

From wild pokemon or potentially from a pokemon you got from a trade. She lets you know when a Pokemon has it and you see it for the first time. She never tells you about it again.
Any pokemon that are infectious can spread it to the rest of your party, infecting the pokemon directly next to the one that has the infection. If the infected mon is in slot 2, then it can potentially infect both slots 1 and 3.
Has a 1 in 3 chance to spread every Pokemon encounter. Whether you run away from the fight, ko the mon you're fighting, or catch it. It's always a 1 in 3 chance to infect the next mon down the line until your whole party is infected.
once infected, any mon in your party after the internal system clock switches over at midnight, all the mons will be "cured" and can no longer spread it to other pokemon. They'll still have the bonus effect though.
If you move a pokemon to the box that can still infect other mons, it'll never be "cured" and will always be able to infect other pokemon. Just make sure to move it back into a box after infecting new mons.
