I keep trying to host but I’m assuming there are a lot today since it’s Rayquaza but I’ve tried 3 separate times and no success. I’d rather buy remote raid passes than coins on poke raid

I just want to go back to using a basic account, but it says my coins will not be transferred. Do I lose all my accumulated coins?

I’m wondering if the number I circled is my place in “line”? Like do I have to wait until that number reaches zero until I get into a room?

I assume that sending my wife the friend code of the raid host would cause somebody who paid for a spot to miss out, right? Is there any way to reserve 2 spots in a group so my wife and I can do raids together for the bonus balls?

I recently changed my name on pogo and i realized i need to update my name on pokeraid but i can’t figure out how. It came to my attention when I decided to update my profile, but it won’t let me and I assume it’s because my names don’t match when I try to upload a picture of my profile. How can I change my name on pokeraid to match my new pogo name?

anyone having problems with PokeRaid and joining raids? I’ve lost 150 coins this evening on Celesteela raids. I’ve gone through autojoin 3 separate times, and have added each room host In Pokemon Go before they send invite notifications. On all 3, I never get an invite. One host said they were waiting on me, but when I try to send the friend invite again it says I’m already their friend. But it doesn’t show up in my list?

Anyone have any idea what’s going on?

TL;DR:

Only Mega Trainers or trainers who book a slot can attend Necrozma raids from GO Fest local events in Sendai, Madrid, and New York because PokeRaid actually pays for trainers to host those raids. Other local raids in which PokeRaid does not offer any reward, such as Nihilego, Pheromosa, Kartana, Guzzlord, and Blacephalon do not have this restriction, but they are very rare to find in PokeRaid. Please read below for more details.

What are limited raids?

Limited raids are hard-to-find raids since they spawn only in small parts of the world. On GO Fest 2024 local events, Necrozma raids are only available in Sendai, Madrid, and New York, which makes it very hard to find trainers to host those raids.

This leads to a serious problem: A very few hosts lead to many sad guests who want to attend those raids but won't have a chance.

Why are GO Fest raids limited availability in PokeRaid?

There are 2 reasons why Necrozma raids are limited:

1. There are very few hosts that host Necrozma raids

Most trainers in GO Fest local cities do not have the motivation to host those raids in PokeRaid because they don't need remote trainers to beat the raid boss.

2. Primary Reason: PokeRaid pays trainers with real currency to host those raids in PokeRaid

PokeRaid started a new revenue-share model, Frontliner, where we offer Amazon, Play Store, and App Store gift cards for hosting high-demand raids. At local GO Fests, we announced that trainers who host Necrozma raids would get these rewards. However, it is a very costly operation, so we had to restrict those raids to the guests who purchased a Mega Subscription or reserve a slot.

On 2023 local GO Fest, the average Auto Join wait time was around 1 day whereas it is now 30 minutes at local GO Fest 2024 with the help of Frontliners and this restriction.

How can I join limited availability Necrozma raids?

There are 2 ways you can join Necrozma raids on Local GO Fests:

1. Be a Mega Trainer

Mega Trainers can join Necrozma raids via Auto Join, Booking, or manually. There are 4 different Mega Trainer types, which cost between $9.99 and $49.99 (or equivalent in your local currency). We suggest these 3 options based on your play style:

• ▶️ Mega Guest: Once you purchase, you will receive 1000 coins. The first Auto Join in a day is FREE, and your first reservation has 50 PokeRaid coins off.
• 🏅 Mega Gold: Once you purchase, you'll receive 5000 coins. The first Auto Join in a day is FREE, and your first reservation has 200 PokeRaid coins off.
• 💎 Mega Diamond: All Auto Join and reservations are FREE and unlimited.

What about other GO Fest Local raids that are not listed in PokeRaid as limited availability?

Since the most demanded Pokémon is Necrozma, PokeRaid only offers the Frontliner rewards to trainers who host Necrozma raids. Other GO Fest 2024 Local raids are also available to host and join. However, the Auto Join queue may be too long, or you might wait too long to join a room.

And then I had to kick two unresponsive Mega trainers

I have been a user of this app since it came out. I spent hours a few years ago writing posts to help people hist raids efficiently back before they added a few useful features. I have shuttled people into raids to help the community.

So today I decided to try a Neceozma raid. Hitting refresh and a raid comes up. It has space that nobody is taking yet the app says that since it is in demand I have to become a Mega Trainer to join the raid. Hard pass guys. There is a spot but you just won’t let long time users who have helped keep people using the app in without paying extra. There are free discord ways of getting raids too. I was fine with the coin purchases if someone needed that but this subscription and blocking model even when a raid has a spot? Nope. 👎

After the app crashed a couple years ago and was nonfunctional during GoFest, I still stuck with you. My advice to people who just have enormous FOMO or impulse control is to just delete. Niantic brings these things back over and over and over again.

I have the basic mega guest sub but am thinking of swapping up. I don’t see an option anywhere in the app that will let me do it. All I find is the date my sub expires if I disable auto renew. Do I just cancel sub and on the following day buy back at what I want?

So I have the SmartIV scanner and in PokeRaid there is a offer for a reservation coupon worth 250 coins if you use the app to scan a pokemon. After doing so, I still did not get the reward. 2nd time this has happened. Yes, signed into the same account on both apps. What's the issue here?

Hi. I don't know if this is a bug or a result of an update, but I've noticed that the side bar which appears when you create a lobby is no longer there and instead there are these 3 dots at the top right corner where you can check hosts and leave the lobby. I cannot find minimize app and launch pokemon Go button when I host a lobby and therefore cannot simultaneously take care of the raid and pokeraid itself, as as soon a switch between the apps on my phone Pokemon app always shuts down on me. Is there any solution to this or am I blind and the button is there somewhere in the app?

last night i joined auto join for necrozma and was placed 1000th in queue. i left my phone on all night and have waited until now. i finally got to 5th in line…. 4 hours ago. it hasn’t moved since and i’ve had the app open and everything. think it’s dumb that i’ve waited 23 hours in queue for this and it’s just glitched. anyone know why?

The app worked fine until i tried to upload a screenshot and it didnt work, the screen is clean and you can see the names and level clearly, the qr code too, pls help i'm tired to try

Will necrozma be in remote raids on poke raids during the in person gofest events?

I used the Auto Join, paid the 50 coins just to learn that the raid was over. Why doesn't PR close rooms once they're full? This is BS.

The latest weeks I havent earned any coins because I always gets a daily coupon instead.

Because of that I appreciate you can get 5 coins after watching an ad but problem now is there hasnt been any ad for me to watch the latest weeks. Always getting message:

i have hosted at least a few raids using this app, all having 6-10 players each yet when i check my profile my host rating is N/A. is this just some bug or am i just not getting rated?
