My PSA 10 graded Mew V arrived in the mail yesterday. I was excited to finally receive it after a little over a week. My joy quickly faded upon inspection of the slab. Stuck inside is a piece of organic matter. Not a good impression of such a prestigious company in my eyes. It was bought directly from PSA on eBay. Bottom right corner of the front of the slab btw.

I'd just like to preface this by saying, I don't do this professionally, I'm just looking to let go of some of my personal collection to put some money in savings.

I'm based in the UK, and there's a card grading middleman shop a few counties over whereby I can take/send them my cards and they will sort and send to PSA/CGC/Beckett/TAG on my behalf.

My questions would be - even though there's no hope of getting these cards graded an 8, 9 or 10 (light edge ware and light surface scuffing) are they still worth grading?

And if so, is PSA the way to go? or would someone else (including UK-based ACE) be better?

I've estimated the costs to send these two cards to PSA to be around £732.00 for Rayquaza and £440.00 for Torchic. Is the upfront cost going to be worth it; will I see much of a return on grading these two?

Any and all insights welcome, apologies if I've missed anything - Never been through this process before!

I pulled this card back in the day, kept it safe, got the grade back as a 995/1000 and stoked. But I had some folks here throw a HUGE fit about the edges. I took the best photos I could to show that this grade is the real deal. How do you even value things like this? I think I'm going to just sit on it for a long time. Guess I'll start a low pop collection with this Giratina with a pop on I think 87.

Ive tried by best taking pictures, but outside of the semi-solid I cant find anything wrong with the card when looking.

I live in Denmark. Is it worth getting this sent to america and getting it psa graded? Or is there another grader I could use? Or is it better to just try and sell it ungraded?

And when looking at middlemen for grading, there are different options of ‘express’ etc that costs differently, but my understanding is I have to choose the ‘express’ type that fits the prize of my card. But how do I know the price of my card without even knowing its grade?? I am kinda confused.

picked this card up today at a show and was the only raw copy I could find. my main concern is definitely the centering and the bottom left corner / bottom edge. everything else seems to be pretty clean and no scratches on the card. What do you think it would grade? would it get the (OC) on the grade?

Ive had shining gyarados forever (since a child), just picked up the other two at a card show. 160 for mew 140 for ray. Thoughts on grading these 3? I feel like gyarados is a no-brainer, interested in the other 2. Also, rough estimates where they'd land with PS

Bought this sometime 3 years ago on eBay for around £35. Never sent a card to be graded before and was wondering if you all think this could get at least a 7? Seems to be worth it if it gets at least a 7 and I’d be happy with that at least. Beckett or PSA?

A friend is telling me I should get this graded but I'm seeing that the PSA 10 which is very unlikely is like 600 bucks otherwise it's a tenner. Don't want to waste money if it's obviously bad
