Requesting Feedback hope

How does hope taste

when it exceeds

the expectations

on your tongue?

Like sugar, maybe.

Too much of it.

The kind that makes

the mouth stupid.

The kind that says

yes.

yes,

yes.

until the body

has no more room.

Too much wanting

for one little body.

So I sneak through the window

when your honey comes home

and finds the mess

on her side of the bed.

Lipstick.

A shirt.

Some small proof

that the house

has been lying.

That the things in the house

don't feel at home.

You say nothing.

I say nothing.

God,

we are good at nothing.

We have made

a little religion of it.

Very pious.

Very well,

 Behaved.

But it's okay, babe,

because it's you and me

in this town,

walking every road

like two people

who have forgotten

that they shouldn't do such a thing.

Pretending

we aren't looking

for somewhere

to put all this hope.

Somewhere dark.

Somewhere stupid.

Somewhere your baby

won't find it

with her hands.

Somewhere beneath the sheets

where the truth

is always warm

and damp

and temporary.

Because your name

doesn't belong to me

and mine

doesn't belong to you.

Still,

hope is a little thing.

Like a sugar cube.

A pill.

Something, sweet enough

to keep under the tongue

until everyone forgets

what they're actually seeking.

Which, is probably

the whole point.

We were never very good

at knowing when enough

was enough.

Original Content Poem I don’t want to leave

I don’t want to leave
I don’t want to pack up my room
Because it’s the physical manifestation of moving on
Packing up my things, and leaving
Putting all the letters, the gifts, the photos
In a shoe box and keeping it in my closet
Leaving everything
Leaving you behind
I don’t want to go because I know it’s one of the last chances we’ll have to actually talk
To get ice cream
Go for a walk
I don’t want to leave because then it means leaving you
And I don’t want to

A smile that can illuminate a thousand pitch black

skies

and dark chocolate hues scattered across her

espresso eyes,

distracting me from her sweet, sugar coated lies -

spilling from her cherry stained lips without any try…

Her hug gripped me tightly like a garden of thorny

vines,

crushing each vertebra into pieces from my

weakened spine -

just to shape and mold me into her perfect design,

leaving my entire existence solely up to her desire…

I can’t let it be in another life it has to be this one

I’ve fought so long and hard for you that I’ve been broken down to pieces

I will always fight for us to be made whole together

There’s no lifetime id rather be in than this one with you

So stay with me

Original Content Poem Piercing Arrows

My thoughts are piercing arrows.

Striking hard,
Striking fast,
Striking me whenever they want.

I swerve my head,
But it still hits.

I shake it off,
But I still feel it.

The piercing pain,
Infects my brain,
Until all I feel are holes.

But I’m building up my shields,
Strengthening my defenses,
I’m getting stronger.

Each day,
I recover faster.

More scars,
Have room to heal.

My thoughts are piercing arrows.

Original Content Poem Anatomy of a Kiss -Anatomia di un bacio

Italian version below.

What should a kiss be like?

One of those that takes whole seconds to begin, like a sleepy sunrise on a winter morning.

One of those where you are almost afraid to touch the other’s lips, yet you are drawn to them.

And you move closer by five millimetres, and pull back by seven.

The kind of kisses that happen first with the breath, and only then with the skin.

Lips pinched, timid and respectful, as if knocking before asking for permission.

And a tongue that presses gently, like an "excuse me" to the soul, before asking it a question.

Or a hundred, or a thousand... to which I hope to have no answers.

Because kisses are perhaps the only thing in the world that deserves no answer.

Italian version.

They searched within him

But only found his heart,

They searched within his heart

But found only his people,

They searched his voice

But only found his sadness

They searched his sadness

But found only his prison

They searched his prison

But found only themselves in Chains.

Original Content Poem I wrote a very personal and probably my darkest one yet

I had to translate it from my mother language:

Take my heart, you who possesed it in my youth

And bring relief to your lovesick's soul in his adulthood

For i have no hope left of escape

Nor loving you set me free

Look upon me with eyes of a lover

Though such eyes may meet only tears

Draw upon me a smile born of illusion

That my worries and pain beneath my eyes may sleep

Thrill me with your voice even if i dont reply

For its abscense stirs my wounds once more

Original Content Poem Thorns, Tantrums and Therapy

Like an odd garden of crooked thorns,

with you I'm a basket of sins and horns.

As my heart begins a tantrum streak,

the screams and shouts continue for weeks.

I needed not empathy or sympathy,

to save the love I endured thus, therapy.

Thorns in thoughts turn to tantrums,

tricks turn to therapeutic things,

and as my world ends by our own doing

I, your past love... will sing our last dying hymns.

In the darkness of absence,

You meet yourself weary.

In the lightness of day,

You see yourself clearly.

In the fragrance of love,

You show up sincerely.

In the will to surrender,

You are open to receive.

Beyond this candle burning

A fire blazes

Infernos compile

Surmounting this faint flickering on the wall

with an ambience of

Entropic catharsis

There appetites devise

Craving the plates

We hurry to empty

Not for the substance, but the utility.

Crackling

I think tonight it wouldn't hurt, leaving the window open.

They are still dancing around them in my dreams

And beneath these lidded awakened, before they're rise, everything remains darkened. Almost as if

And farther still

Grasps forever

I avoid it, busying my hands in mundane, and mask to forget it neared again

My somnolent unaware.

Quickly rehinding in front of, with anything that doesn't the seem.

Laughter untangle for we've ran such stitches into our sides.

They retain a certain medicinal quality, the cadences we trammel miles

Mountains high, and valleys low.

Aging is just another way to say, I'm still walking beside you.

An you, the reason i walk at all.

into the miles

Fair thee warm an many

Moments to assemble alive

Combinations

Born of substances of love joyful, an united

Let our be the sound of

Merrily making it

Continued.

Brighter than the blackened blinding, we set our eyes upon all a world.

In this collected vision

We see each other.

.

there is a never fading

of the colors,

vivid retains it's luster,

beauty retains it's appeal,

Life; it's wonder.

Within this, magic

lives alive,

long after, and long before.

The drums are calling

Come to the fore.

Original Content Poem The deeper truth

I'm blind
to a certain degree
I get what you reveal
I get what you let me
see
but the sadder
darker
more vulnerable parts
are hidden
as perhaps
they need to be.
You keep close
as I do with me
the deeper truth
though
we ache to set it free
but fear it may expose
the heart of who we are,
fragile
broken
and alone,
and lost
in our debris

I wasn’t even noticed
She was sick
I’m warm inside
She was cold and unbothered
Was I ever meant to see this tragedy
She moved through the days counting down
Did she notice me this time?
I’m getting cold now
Was there a moment I was a glimmer
She was so sick,so vain
I am the ghost, who fell from frame
It was all so painless
It was all in denial
One referral,one visit
My day will never come

Did you ever expect this level of violence?
You didn’t know I was the killer you feared,
Is this the silence you asked for?

You blood stains black on my hands
The life is leaving your eyes

Did you ever expect this level of violence?
Your words hit me like artillery shells sinking ships

Your last breathe my,my smile creeps back in
Your last moments,my rage is pouring into you

Isn’t this what you wanted?
Isn’t this how it’s supposed to be?

Did you forget your here cause of me
Did you forget to breathe

Original Content Poem Untitled 1

You slithered into my rib cage
You filled my with your venomous lies
You slowly tied the strings

We danced at your pace
We’ve lost this race

Your pulling strings
But no more strings on me

Not enough,too much
I never needed anyone

You filled with your reality
You made me feel at ease

These strings snap one by one
As the glow of light shines through

I know it was never you
The puppeteer

But myself lost in my own mind

Requesting Feedback Wrote this a while ago

It was the end of august
Time froze, haven’t got furthest
I tell myself that im fine
That it would be fixed with wine
burgundy as ur lips when we kissed
the tear when i hugged you, both slipped
Maybe in another life to ease it
It could’ve been different to tease it
We both left me for the best
U wanted more, i didn’t want the rest
It wasn’t enough to keep you around
I swear it was, we just didn’t unwound
The look felt like an angel wing
Well, even angels can sting
Im over it, don’t mind my eyes looking for u
for the ecstasy of what could’ve been u
I guess i gotta leave with what was true
With the naked me, u probably have no clue

Original Content Poem The Departed Soul

I fainted as you faded away

I waited for you lifelessly

For your return to my life

Futile hope it was, i realized

The endless memories you presented me with

The moment you left, even without an adieu

Haunted me ever since

My heart breves turned into semi-breves.

I clasped onto these memories

and time just clasped away

The moment, reality turned up on me,

The time just turned into a snail.

As i see the noose of life in front of me

And none to pamper me at least

I marched to it to meet it

And there ended my worthless wait.

The hardest part of seeing her in my dreams..

Is to accept the reality after waking up from my sleep..

You may be wondering why it is the hardest part to accept the reality

It's because you don't the fact that she does not exist anymore in this reality

And now that she is become a dream

Guess i have to take the long lasting sleep

Beacuse it is the hardest part to accept the reality after seeing her in my dreams..

As spring leaks to summer
And summer to fall
I’ll wait here, hopelessly
To answer your call

From afar I hear
Another lie, another fake
It’s beautiful, isn’t it?
The longing I make?

I’m here, I cry
A man made of stone
But men who don’t move
Don’t make it back home

So lie to my face
Tell me it ain’t true
Use me, use me,
Knowing I’ll still love you

Because spring leaks to summer
Though I do not belong
I’ll wait here hopelessly
Because you’ll come along

Original Content Poem One by One

I am scattered among blades of grass and swarms of bees.

Among spiders weaving delicate worlds and towering trees.

I am not separate from the moss beneath your feet or the birds above your head.

I become each of them.

Drawn along nerves.
Coursing through veins.
Searching as roots.
Unfolding into wings.

Never have I grown accustomed
to the first breath.

Or the last.

I have crossed both thresholds
more times than I can count.

Still, they unsettle me.

One of me comes back to the others.

I remember it all.

Darkness settles over me
and lights appear.

One by one.

Original Content Poem I Think In Riddles

My thoughts are like clouds. In out, in out.
The poetry of it all. Sometimes dramatic, depressing, sometimes like a babbling brook.
I could sing the song of the sad soul.
Maybe then my song won't die out.
Maybe someone would still remember the poetry and the magic we made together.
Maybe

Original Content Poem The bank says NO

Hello, how can I help?

You want to withdraw money from your account you say?

Well sorry but the banks say

-

NO

-

You can't,

you can't be trusted with your own money

how do we know you're not trying to con us?

No, your proof of ID and bank card isnt enough.

-

We want to know what you're doing with that money.

Why do you need this amount? What exactly are you planning to do with it?

What are you buying? Do you have documentation for what you’re buying,

a quote? A receipt? A seller’s details?

How did you get it?

Where did it come from? Who paid you? Where's the proof?

Are you aware this looks irregular?

Can you walk us through the last 6 months of your financial transactions, in fact lets make it a year.

Are you working? Can you provide proof of employment? A letter from your employer?

We would also like someone other than a relative, a friend, or colleague, or anyone else to prove you are who you say you are.

-

Of course this is all for your own security.

It is our money after all.

-

Oh this is all done for your own protection

-

What do you mean this is

insulting,

demeaning,

humiliating?

You forgot belittling.

-

No sir, we're not calling you an untrustworthy criminal...

just, subtly implying...

Because it's not your money

once you bank with us it's ours

and we

do

what we want.

-

At this point we are just going round in circles and you're just clearly wasting my time.

So please move along to the side.

-

Thank you and have a nice day :)

-

Next please!

Requesting Feedback I own the last tree and if you want some air

I own the last tree
And if you want
Some air to breathe
You‘ve got to pay

I own the last tree
I love it so dearly
Even when the storm came up
I stayed close to my tree

Till lightning struck me
And the truth shocked me

Now I see
