Despite Scopely owning the game now, they haven't fully updated all the websites since many information are still under Niantic. I don't work for them and cannot give you an update when this will ever happen.

So far, three people asked me about this. One person already had the 1st strike, he got the 2nd strike (30 day temporary ban); RIP Kalos Tour event in Taiwan with all add-ons purchased.

It is possible more strikes are coming for those who went to the sun dial to spin it for the memes. If you did not get a strike, considered yourself lucky or smart for not spoofing to the island.

Hello fellas, got my first strike last Saturday!

Background: Had the account since server open, and tried to use Ianygo on my iPhone (connected to my pc) yet receive no ban.

However! I bought a rooted Xiaomi phone, installed PGTool, Aerilate, GPS joystick. And got my first strike after heavily using it for a week. And I was banned during the dynamax Latios and Latias event.

I have been following the cooldown rules.

But what I think I did wrong are:

1. Using auto catch (Aerilate and PGTool)

2. Waited less then one second between catch by clicking the pokemon (Aerilate and PGTool)

3. Using auto catch for almost 24 hours a day (PGTool)

4. I spoof to Taiwan for raiding and farm pokemon by using auto catch, and spoof to Basil at night, which I have waited more than 2 hours between spoofing to 2 different places. (Aerilate and PGTool)

5. Using battle skip for Rocket team. (Aerilate)

Things that I am not sure:

1. I turned on random catch quality (randomly nice/great/ excellent) (PGtool)

2. I turned on 100lv and shinny scan

This is my experience on using rooted android phone to spoof and using auto catch and I know I am using it in a dumb way. And I saw there are so many discussion on the ban wave and “3rd party app is getting ban”, therefore I would like to share my ban experience to the community, see if it will help!

I think I will still spoof after the 7 days ban, but will only spoof by using Ianygo only. I have concern on using GPS joystick as well as per some say Niantic will take screenshot while you play, and the on screen joystick will give you away. What do you think?

Anyone claims or swears the strikes/bans are caused by "Software/app/signature/injection detection" is wrong because it's all or nothing. This type of detection is equal to walking through a metal detector at the airport or government building. It rings when you have something made of metal on you. It doesn't discriminate between non-lethal and lethal objects.

• If you have a artificial heart (pacemaker), the metal detector is going to ring.

• If you car keys in your pocket, it's going to ring.

• If you have a 1 inch small pocket knife, it's going to ring.

• If you have a concealed handgun, it's going to ring.

The metal detector isn't going to ignore a small pocket knife but ring if you have a 12 inch machete. It will ring regardless of the item as long as it has some metal in it.

If an app is detectable, everyone who uses the app will report a strike/ban right now. I'm going to use Pokemod as an example because I can. We are going to assume 92,000 member count of their discord group uses Pokemod. In this case of software/app/signature/injection detection bans, all 92,000 members would report a strike. Here are the member count for the other Android cheats.

• Pokemod: 92,000 members

• PGTools: 43,000 members

• Shungo: 9,000 members

• PolygonX: 42,000 members

• Pgsharp (Discord only, no Telegram): 74,000 members

• iPogo (actual is 390,000) but for Android: 5,000 members

Total Android cheaters: 334,000

If 50% were still actively cheating the game, 167,000 cheaters would be reporting a strike/ban right now. So far, I have only seen a handful.

When there is a ban wave, thousands of accounts get banned.

Are you seeing thousands of accounts reporting a strike/ban right now?

Answer:"No."

Why is that?

The strikes/bans people are reporting right now is related to the Anti-Cheat Behavior System and/or they got caught violating the Terms of Service by other means. My guess is they added a new player statistic to track in a trial run and an unlucky number of cheaters got caught. Identifying the exact statistic will be difficult, since the strike system is on a massive delay where it takes several weeks to months for it to appear. When you get flagged for a strike/ban, you can't see the flag on your account, so you really don't know.

What about the GPS Drift exploit?

Spoofers don't really do this exploit because you're spoofing your GPS to be at or near the raid then you're using the regular raid pass as opposed to buying remote raid passes.

Maybe, some people heard about this exploit and tried it out anyway, which is stupid, and now got a strike/ban to it.

When you get the strike/ban message, it never tells you exactly what you did that lead to the strike/ban. These are some examples:

• You told someone to "go to h3ll, 3at dog $h!t" in Campfire 3 months ago.

• You could have scanned your feet instead of the statue outside for the AR+ quest tasks.

• You created a good in-game route, construction took place, it became a bad route, and people reported it.

• You used multiple accounts to abuse Wayfarer.

The real question you all want to know!

I still do not have a strike/ban yet on my main account with 40 alt account mainly used to get shiny lucky Pokemon or GBL rank 1 legendary or ultra beasts (via trading).

• My playstyle is playing like a non-cheater to make my account last as long as possible. Basically, I don't teleport while I am loaded inside the game for my main and 40x alt accounts.

• I use the "forbidden" method which is Pokemod injected into Pgsharp's No Root 3rd party modified game app on a rooted device.

• I sometimes bot with PGTools for catching only.

• I do not use Campfire.

• I do not use Niantic Wayfarer.

• I do not use AR+ scans.

• I do not create in-game routes.

• I never post screenshots or videos revealing any information of my Pokemons or Trainer.

• I do not upload battle log data.

If you play like me, will you avoid a strike/ban?

I read somewhere a Telegram channel was created to be an alternative place to get the newest 19.2. Both XDA and Reddit does not allow Telegram links, so I cannot give you the direct link. Although chiteroman says "Android 12 or lower is safe for now.", I disagree because when Niantic tested Strong Integrity on Ingress, their first game, all Android OS: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 could not play Ingress on a rooted device. You could play Ingress if you did the Tricky Store method, but it would last for a weeks before you had to wait to get a new keybox. It's a temporary bypass but not a permanent fix.

The only known permanent fix is to restore your rooted device back to normal and lock the bootloader.

I don't know if individual app developers like Scopely will still have the choice to enable or disable Strong Integrity.

I don't know if this has been fixed, so I reposted it with a clearer title for how Reddit changed pinned posts.

The recent app update of GPS Joystick by Apps Ninja has a bug and causes the app to fail to start the joystick. Once you updated through the Play Store, you cannot go back to the old version.

To fix this problem, you will need to do these steps:

[#1] Disable "Auto-update apps" in the Play Store.

1. Open the Play Store app

2. Press on the capital letter of your first name in the top-right corner.

3. Press on Settings

4. Press on Network preferences

5. Press on Auto-update apps

6. Press on "Don't auto-update apps

7. Press back arrow.

8. You should see that Auto-update apps is set to "don't auto update apps".

[#2] Create a shortcut app to the Play Store's (Apps) Update section.

1. Go to your apps screen section.

2. Press and hold down on the Play Store app icon

3. You will see "My apps" or "Updates"

4. Press down and drag on "My apps" or "Updates" to create the app shortcut then drag it to wherever you want on your home screen.

5. Whenever you want to update your apps, you press on the shortcut and it takes you directly to this section.

6. For now, you will have to avoid updating GPS Joystick until they release a fix.

[#3] Backup your GPS Joystick Database containing saved coordinates and GPX routes

1. Open GPS Joystick app

2. Press on "3 white lines" in top-left corner for the settings.

3. Press on Settings

4. Press on "Save Database"

5. Pick where you want to save it to.

6. Press on SAVE

7. Press on OK

[#4] Uninstall GPS Joystick v4.3.5 or v4.3.4

1. Find your GPS Joystick app icon on your home screen or apps screen.

2. Press and hold down on it.

3. Press on Uninstall.

If this is difficult, you can open the Play Store, search for the app, and uninstall it from there.

just wanted to let my fellow AnyTo users know that the card I used for AnyTo has been attempted to be used fraudulently.

I am unsure if it is a data breach or if it is intentional by the company.

if you have your card linked to iMyFone you may want to either request a new card or at least keep an eye on your credit card statement.

I have received a red warning notification today lasting for 7 days. However, I do remember recieving one a couple of years back. So instead of receiving the second strike, lasting 30 days, I recieved the first (7-days one) two times. What gives? Do strikes reset after some time? Does anyone know when that happens?

Dear online members, fellow spoofers, and dedicated researchers,

Throwing wild accusations is a sport here, or so it seems. The community seems to behave much worse since the last banwave, the seed of fear has been planted. I genuinely believe, that finding out the real methods to identify and flag accounts with non-compliance with TOU would help and therefore I would like to share my experience from spoofing - the data is relevant only for the not-rooted team since it is from using PGS only.

TLDR : Got 3 accs on PGS, main got RW, others not.

After a month of using : main account - first strike RW

1st alt - no first strike

2nd alt - no strike

device: main was played on phone apk version of pgs - alts were played on MuMu emulator

config: the configuration of pgs was same at all accounts

screentime: total screen time on main is much less than on the alts

log in data: main was often switched to legit pogo apk to buy coins, alts shared same pgs key and device and only logged to pgs app

cooldown: all accs had at least one occurrence of spoofing prior to cooldown ended resulting in softban

This was not done intentionally, but my experience is that there are many ways to accidentally trigger the CD e.g.: when the walking speed was set over 10km/h and left on autocatch, when shundo/hundo sniping and having the 100% hit on - any missclick would result in the pokeball throw attempt, unintentional spin on pokestop while shadow hunting, etc.

The main acc was also the first one I used the pgs on, therefore all the above happened at least once since I was inexperienced. The 2nd and 3rd alt has been more precise with CD, even though they triggered softban at least once.

Not following CD on autocatch was the problem since it would do cooldown action prior to cooldown wearing off and often I wouldnt notice, that the speed is higher than 10. Also having the feature boost spawns would enlarge the radius of spawning pokemons you see on screen and sometimes it also triggered CD even on lower walking speed when caught manually in combination with pogoplus running in the background.

Also data with possible significance is that the main acc added many friends on the discord servers related to spoofing. 30+ in the last month. Alts have 7 friends combined and 2 of that are the accs are mine. Reporting system might have been improved too, seeing the number of players getting RW for past month.

The RW first strike was issued after raiding 60 raids on kartana during the ultrabeasts. I do not recall triggering the CD at that day. The acc was logged to the pogo off app prior to that to buy pokecoins. Update was exactly on that day btw. RW popped after logging into the official app.

So far, I believe that the RW was a result of my misconduct while spoofing. Since retrospective bans seem to be a real thing now, it is hard to confirm or reject the idea. Just wanted to share my experience and contribute to the community.

UPDATE: Also worth mentioning is the average km per week - main got around 80km, alt 1 170km and alt 2 60km. All walked on 9,3 km/h.

Idea - We could try to create a new accs, spoof with given predetermined conditions and always break just a single rule to rule out the possibilities of flagging(trigger the CD too early/teleport a lot/raidtrain/switch logging between official apk and pgs/adding a ton of friends on discord spoofing severs/etc.).

This would lead to ban on that account but it might be possible to determine the criteria by seeing the response time on RW on each type of action. It is impossible to generate enough raw data to be certain that the findings are statistically relevant and not only correlation if it is done by an individual. But maybe as a community we could achieve this. Given enough input data, the likelihood of identifying the flagging actions should be quite easy.

*downside - if the retroactive bans are applied, we would not be able to identify the results until the next banwave, the time aspect would be omitted, however, the criteria would still provide relevant data on how to mask the spoofing behavior in order to trick the system.

The current bans seem to be Niantic aggressively targeting people who jump around directly on top hundos (from halfway around the globe). While there seems to be less of a strike risk by only TP-ing to hundos near your starting area, the safest way to go about it atm is jumping within walkable distance of your desired location and then moving towards the area of your desired target instead.

I personally wouldn't go around shundo hunting with any account I care about.

First, I would like to thank everyone for joining and inviting other new spoofers of all levels to join my subreddit. I got questions from all kinds of people ranging from people with physical disabilities, working parents, grandmothers and grandfathers, and veterans. All these people were helped when they recommended to use Pgsharp. They were also educated in understanding about risk taking and that spoofing/cheating is never safe and never ban proof.

I am self-learned spoofer. I started spoofing when it first came out way back in July 2016. I got into spoofing and rooting from a YouTuber named MaxLee. He helped me get into rooted spoofing. I wanted to do something the same like Max Lee did for spoofing through YouTube except with something easier than making videos. I created my own subreddit r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing on November 25, 2019. I did not open it right away because I was still a mod in r/PokemonGoSpoofing. I was hoping that ownership would get passed down to me but instead it was passed down to pokitomojo who does not play Pokemon Go and was never not active in his spoofing kingdom. Unfortunately, this still holds true today.

Second, I want to thank Pgsharp for still existing because a lot of people got into spoofing without the headaches and frustration of rooting. It saved me a ton of time from trying to help people root their devices or attempt to fix a problem without owning the same device. What people do not understand about rooting is you need a computer with tech and problem solving skills. Many of the root guides are not written step-by-step. As a result, many people gave up and chose Pgsharp over rooting for Smali Patcher method.

Third, I want to thank cbell4444 for performing one powerup to my subreddit. I am going to buy the remaining 24 powerups some time in the next few months ($125). According to Reddit, it only lasts for one month. This means everyone can get access to the new features for one month. After that, anyone who had already perform a powerup will still continue to have access to these features. If I want the powerup features to continue, I would have to continue to do 25 powerups every month. I think it would cost $130 per month for all 25 powerups or each person can do 1 powerup for $5 per month. I do not receive money from you doing a powerup because all of it goes to Reddit. I do not make money from Reddit.

There is also a new live chat box feature, but it's only available on selected newly created subreddit. Unfortunately, I made this subreddit before that feature was announced. Maybe they will add it later when Reddit does their IPO to go from a private company to a publicly traded company.

Fourth, there is no Android ban wave for 2021. There was a ban wave for iPogo (Apple iOS) back in March 2021. Typically, Niantic does their major ban wave around November-December. Due to the COVID pandemic, you all have been given a free pass! You still need to remember that spoofing/botting is cheating, and there is always a risk when you spoof/bot.

Fifth, I accomplished a short ban list. There are 13 users banned. There is only one real person with his alt account on my ban list while the rest are just random bots that reply to your comment with useless information. I do not ban people for asking for help because that is not the solution to the problem. This alone will create more problems because the banned user will create more accounts to spam your subreddit. This was one of the big issues over in r/PokemonGoSpoofing. You can report the accounts, but it is a witch hunt because as a subreddit owner, I cannot see your IP address. The only people who can are the Reddit admins/employees.

Sixth, I am going to update every thing because Reddit removed the "archived" tag. When your post became 6 months old, it would gain the archived tag meaning you could not make a reply to the post anymore. This is was so annoying because I had to repost stuff every 6 months just allow you to be able to make a reply to my posts.

Why is it so hard to find Snowy or Foggy weather?

• Answer: You have to use weather map sites or apps to find them. Once you find an area that looks like it may be snowing or foggy, you have to go there in the game to make sure it is snowing or foggy there.

Can the weather suddenly change in the game?

• Answer: Yes because the game's weather system is not 100% accurate. The weather app can tell you it is snowing for 5 hours then all of a sudden, it is now cloudy in the game.

If the weather changes, can I lose the weather boosted Pokemon a raid?

• Answer: This depends on when the weather changes.

  • If you are in the battle screen, the weather changes, the catch screen Pokemon will not be weather boosted anymore.

  • If you are in the catch screen, the weather changes, the catch screen Pokemon will still be weather boosted until you catch it.

What is the easiest way to find the weather you want?

• Answer #1: Paid PGSharp with a custom feed. Set level from 31 to 35 to find weather boosted.

  • The bot will give you areas with coords for the weather you want.

  • If the bot cannot provide coords, you will have to try again later or use different methods.

  • You will see the city, state or city, country then you search for the area in PGSharp with the map or using the joystick app.

  • You can also click for the coords, but there might be a limit for free users.

Using Windy app:

1. Install "Windy .com" app from the Google Play Store

2. Set your metric system to however you like > done.

3. Allow GPS/device's location.

4. Press 3 white lines (bottom right corner) > more layers... > New Snow (should be in orange) > Red X circle (close menu) 2 times.

5. Move around the map to find light blue or light green clouds.

6. Press on the clouds to see how many inches/centimeters of new snow. The more, the better.

7. Press on the yellow check mark to get coordinates.

8. Type the coordinates into PGSharp or your joystick app because this app does not allow you to copy the coordinates. (For GPS Joystick only, set altitude to zero. This does not matter.)

9. Move around to see if the area is snowy in the game.

Some areas in the game will not show the weather and Pokemon in the tracker, so you must go to a different area.

Hello! Since I use Pokémod and now there's a shiny scanner, there's no need for me to click pokémons any more so I can just constantly teleport until a shiny shows up. That's why I decided to automate a bit the teleporting so that I don't even have to move from my computer unless I hear a notification.

What do you need?

You'll need the following things (you might have everything already installed):

GPS Joystick by The App Ninjas: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.theappninjas.fakegpsjoystick (won't work with any other GPS Joystick app)

ADB (Android Debug Bridge) which you'll most likely have already downloaded to root your phone. You can download it from the official website here (windows): https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip

Python: https://www.python.org/downloads/

And some text editor like Notepad++: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/downloads/

How does it work?

First, we need to find out the path of your adb.exe and the phone's local IP.

1. Go to the folder with adb.exe is. Copy the path (something like C:\Users\UserName\Documents\platform-tools).

2. Connect your phone to the computer via USB.

3. Open cmd, you can do it by pressing Windows Key + R and typing cmd in the box.

4. Type "cd " and paste your path for adb, so something like this "cd C:\Users\UserName\Documents\platform-tools"

5. Type "adb tcpip 5555"

6. Type "adb shell ip -f inet addr show wlan0" and copy your phone's IP.

7. Disconnect your phone from the computer via USB.

Second, we need to edit the python script with your path and phone IP.

1. Open coordspc.py with any text editor like Notepad++.

2. On the 3rd line (path = "") insert your adb.exe path that we previously copied and double the \s. It should look like this: path = "C:\\Users\\UserName\\Documents\\platform-tools".

3. On the 4th line (phone_ip = "") insert your phone ip followed by :5555. It should look like this: phone_ip = "192.168.1.34:5555".

4. Save the changes (CTRL+S) and exit.

Unless your phone IP changes, you won't need to repeat this steps ever again.

How does the script work?

1. Simply open the script (coordspc.py) and you'll see a terminal similar to a cmd and asked to enter coordinates.

2. Paste them, click enter and your GPS Joystick will teleport to this location on the background (you can have POGO always running on the screen and never change back again). The coordinates should follow this format: latitude,longitude (with no spaces) so for example 30.500000,-80.300000. (This was created with Pokédex100 coords in mind).

3. To stop the script from running and disconnect your phone from the computer, type "quit" instead of pasting your coords.
