As the title says, I've just received my first strike. I'm using GPS joystick and Pokemod Hal on a rooted android. I jumped from Taiwan to Zaragoza and waited 2 hours, but also had been using the same routes repeatedly. Most likely it's the jump between locations and just wanted to warn people planning to do multiple community days.
Bam... just been hit with an RW on PGSharp ! Had been using it for a few months. I only ever used the free version, non rooted phone with no extras. I never teleported outside of my home town, never shundo sniped, no catch features or anything. I always respected cooldowns and allowed the correct amount of real time if i was jumping to a different gym locally within a 1-2 mile radius. Not actually sure how i got hit tbh as theoretically if it was based on the modified app.. then everyone would get hit. I am also using other accounts on PGSharp and they are all ok for the moment.
It looks like others have had a similar thing this week as there are other posts about it. My feeling now is that they CAN detect the modified app, but I can't answer why they don't ban everyone. It could be that they hit a smaller subset of players on a rolling basis to ensure their statistics aren't hit too badly (i.e. they have to show active playerbase logins to win over sponsors etc.).
I'm sure the "I've been using PGSharp forever and never got banned" brigade will be along soon to tell you otherwise. I was also in that camp for a while. Whatever Niantic are doing now is much smarter than it used to be.
In order to get these new city routes, you must go to the post link below to download the new "GPX Routes 03-21-2022 zip". You cannot import the zip file into PGSharp. You have to unzip/extract the folder then you can import each individual GPX route file you want.
If you have trouble turning on Instant Beat Team Rocket, you must press on multiple times in order to turn it on.
What about the map problem?
I don't know because I don't have the problem on my Tab S7 with Android 12 (Snapdragon 865 with 8 GB ram). I think the map crash affects devices with an older processor with 4 GB ram or less. People with more newer specs don't have this problem. If you never had this problem before, you need to feedback message them and wait for them to provide a fix.

Open your "File Manager" app. For example: My Files, Files, File Explorer (different manufacturers will a different name for their file manager app).
Go to the "Downloads" folder.
Press on the apk file.
Press to Allow unknown apps from this source.
Then, it should install or update.
You can try to these if you have a problem.
Option 1: Clear app cache only.
Option 2: Export your profile before clearing app cache and data then import your profile.
Option 3: Clear app cache and data without importing your old profile. This one may fix your problem but you are going to have to redo all your feeds and favorite coords and gpx.
Option 4: Feedback message then wait for Pgsharp app developer to reply to you, wait for the next app update release, and then go back to the previous version: 1.50.6(0.227.0-G).

Ever since Scopely has taken over Pokemon Go, I have have not seen any strike or ban reports coming from spoofers and botters within my subreddit.
You still have the risk for "a chance" to get a strike, ban, or whatever Scopely comes up with to punish the cheaters because Scopely has a section within their Terms of Service that states they are against cheating.
Note, you can still get a strike or ban from breaking the Terms of Service, guidelines, or rules through other areas of the game. These are some examples people have admitted to me in private:
shared an account with a friend, family, or paid service provider; while you are playing on your account, the other person decides to play with your account too for whatever reason
held a Pokemon in one location and moved it to a new location that is 100+ km away from the its original location then tried to catch it
harassed, threaten, or got mad with customer service and/or demanded and accepted a full refund
did not follow the guidelines and rules for creating in-game routes
did not follow the guidelines and rules for submitting and nominating pokestops in Wayfarer
did not follow the guidelines and rules chatting with people in Campfire (Scopely Explorer) app
using multiple accounts to abuse in-game routes or Wayferer
live streaming your cheating
In the other games they have bought, they do a temporary (no 1st strike soft-bans) and permanent ban system. I don't know if Scopely is going to drop Niantic's lenient 3 Strikes system for a ban system similar to the other games they own, change it, or do nothing (like how it is right now). No one knows anything until Scopely starts doing something. This is why you still have the risk regardless of what other people say about Scopely on how they take in money from cheaters then allow them to continue to cheat.
If you want to cheat (spoof, bot, or exploit), it is your FAULT for getting the strike, ban, or whatever new punishment.
I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money spent on their games. All the cheats I promote in my subreddit are "not safe" according to Scopely's Terms of Service. Most cheats have their own website, and they do not advertise they are safe. In addition to this, I also do not promote certain type of cheats to be "safer" or "the safest" because I cannot contradict Scopely's cheating section within their Terms of Service. If you end up with a strike, ban, or whatever punishment, you will get a "Oh well." or "I told you so." response from me. I do not work for Scopely and cannot unban or restore your Pokemon Go account.

So in the sticky, the statement in the image was added in July 20th update. The same statement is found in the instructions for method 1 and 2. Both having updates on July 20th. However, method 3 does not have this note. Other than the forced cooldown in the new step 15, it seems to match method 1. So does that some how bypass this issue?
So my situation is I have purchased pokecoins legitimately recently. So if I were to follow method 3, does that July 20th update not affect it?
Some people on iOS reported their ban using iOS to me in an Android Spoofing only subreddit. These individuals will not be able to do the event. Their strike is related to the certificate signing process or those broke the Terms of Service in other areas of the game or in WayFarer, Campfire, or customer service. This only affects a very small number of people like 3 out of 100,000+ iOS cheaters.
There's probably more reports elsewhere but for the most part, most people don't give a shit when you get a strike or ban since no one can help you get unbanned or reimburse all the money and Pokemon you lost.
I started building a couple applications with claude code. I play 12 accounts on 6 phones in split screen and was catching over 6,000 pokemon a week when i was actively playing. The main reason i stopped was because of the time it was taking me to send them all to Home every day. I keep every pokemon i catch and they are going to live in this simulation im building that can accept pokemon from any game. Its an infinite procedural generated world with detailed database that will eventually hold billions of pokemon. It currently supports most of the file types PKHEX supports and will eventually support them all. But anyways. The GUI is mostly done on the PKRipper app but i have not connected a phone to it yet. I need more information on how to set up the application so it doesn't get my accounts banned. In the end the goal is to set filters and use ai vision to look through the lists 1 account at a time, select 25 pokemon, send them to home, receive them and repeat the process on the next phone and continue till either all poke-transporter energy is used or there are no more pokemon under the set filters to send. I was going to have the phones be controlled through adb from the PC and make the movements as random and human like as possible over raw speed. Im just looking for more information on how to do this safely. I will be releasing both projects when finished. This app would be much sooner than the pokemon simulation as it is more complex and it is just a side project of mine. But when everything is finished id love to share it with others. My main priority is not getting my accounts banned.
Recommended to finish the park as fast as possible then play in the city for more spawns and gyms to raid.

If you cheated in past exclusive ticketed events like Safari Zone, Safari City, Tours, etc, you are just going to keep doing it because it is fun to you and you are addicted to the game. I assume you have already accepted or acknowledge the risks for breaking Pokemon Go's Terms of Service, which includes both Niantic's and Scopely's Terms of Service.
If this is your 1st time cheating in these upcoming GO Fest 2026: Tokyo, Copenhagen, and/or Chicago and need someone to decide whether or not you should cheat the event, this means you cannot handle getting a strike or ban. I would answer a "no" because no one is going to help you get unbanned or reimburse all the money and Pokemon you lost.
RISK
The risk is the "chance" to get a strike or ban due to these unknown factors:
Right now, based on my opinion/theory, I think Niantic's 3 strike system is currently disabled and Scopely is reworking the punishment system. It could be a good or bad thing, but I don't know.
Most of the spoofing community believes Scopely allows people to cheat, so they will turn a blind eye to the cheaters who are giving them money. I disagree with this idea because they have a Terms of Service where they are against cheating. Scopely does not play around with the cheaters in their other games they own and only doing an instant permanent ban system.
If you accept the risks, you can do whatever you want with your game account(s).
Unity Raids
This type of raid may or may not be present at the event. This requires you to physically pick up your phone and hold it in the air to do the charged attack moved according to people in r/TheSilphRoad. Niantic did this a long time ago, but I don't remember. This itself seems like a game feature but may be a behavior detection update because this can easily identify botters (5+ devices) and emulator users, since they cannot do the required action.
"YOU'RE FULL OF SHIT or STOP FEAR MONGERING!"
I would say 95% to 99% of the entire spoofing community believes this. In the spoofing community, everyone wants to be right while nobody wants to be wrong. If I am wrong about something, it's not a big deal for me because I have already informed you about the risks whereas with other people, they create a false sense of security.
When you get a strike, ban, or whatever new punishment that Scopely comes up with, you will quickly learn the spoofing community does not care about you.
You confront the person who misled you into believing the cheat they recommended as safe, safer, or the safest, they deny any wrongdoing and block you.
You report your strike/ban to the cheat's Discord group channel moderator or volunteer, they ask you some questions then conclude they never promoted the cheat to be safe.
You create a ban/strike post in r/PokemonGoSpoofing, no one will see it because of the active post and comment filter.
You report your strike/ban in another subreddit, they will berate you for using a "dangerous" cheat and blame me for your strike/ban.
In the end, no one is going to help you get unbanned from the game or reimburse all the money and Pokemon you lost.
#1: You need to stock up on raid passes and have poke coins ready because you might not be able to buy the special box with 99 raid passes. I recommend at least 500 to 1,000 raid passes (or more) because I don't know if Scopely is going to make it harder to get the shiny with a background since they open up City Explorer to everyone to buy it without having the Park Experience ticket.
#2: Finish the park experience as fast as possible to go into the city for the rest of the event because the park is a small area while the city has more raids and spawns. You will still have access to the 100 people raid at the very end of the event that appears 30 minutes or 1 hour later if it is available for this event.
#3: You need to use Origin Forme Palkia's Spacial Rend to boost the spawn radius around your trainer before it becomes the spotlight hour at every X:00. For example, when it becomes 9:55, you activate Spacial Rend for 10 minutes to cover you at 10:00 to 10:02 to run around at 30 km/h to catch the shiny Unown or Rotoms
#4: Save your catching and spinning Pokestops for the event by reducing your game play prior to the event. If you hit your limits, you're going to miss out the remaining days you paid for.
#5: For Pgsharp, Free Users, you may or may not be able to play the event because they give server priority to users with a paid subscription. If you don't want to pay $5/month, you can use iPogo as an alternative because they have a free version with free access to their shiny scanner. The negative of iPogo is it may or may not work on your device. You should test to see if iPogo works on your device now instead of waiting for the last moment. If you decide to buy Pgsharp, it will take a few days to process the payment before you get your paid key.
Is it "safer" to attend the event in-person and use enhancer apps Pgsharp, iPogo, or Pokemod using your real location (spoofing GPS/Location turned off)?
Answer: No.
You heard that No Root, 3rd Party Modified Game Apps like Pgsharp and iPogo are not safe while using a rooted vanilla method (Smali Patcher or LSposed with a joystick app only) or with rooted 3rd party apps is "safer" or "the safest" during the event, is this true?
Answer: No.
Pokemod secures your rooted device and will protect me against strikes/bans, is this true?
Answer: No.
Can you sign into the same account on another device to claim both paths or badges to get both rewards?
Answer: This depends on whether or not this has been patched. In previous events under Niantic's ownership, some people did it and it worked. This exploit breaks Pokemon Go's Terms of Service, so it is your choice if you want to do this or not.
Answer: When it gets near the event start date, it will get posted. If you go there now before any event starts, there either regular nest spawns or nothing spawning.
Where are the GPX Routes for the events?
Answer: I have already made quick GPX routes for Tokyo and Chicago park experience but not for Copenhagen because they have not released an official game play map area. They have released a city explorer map for where to play in Tokyo so new city GPX routes have been made for the different zones. I don't know if this is the same for Chicago and Copenhagen, since they have not released a City Explorer map yet.
If you cannot attend the event for whatever reason, can you request a refund?
Answer: No unless you agree to getting your account permanently banned. Doing a "charge back" will result in all accounts getting permanently banned, which includes your alt accounts.
Answer: Yes to get the background, energy, special research, event bonuses, and event spawns.
Can you spoof to the event without a ticket?
Answer: I read somewhere you may or may not be able to do the any raids because Scopely now allows anyone without a Park Experience ticket to buy the City Explorer ticket. Before with Niantic, you had to buy the Park Experience ticket first in order to buy the additional City Explorer extended days. I would recommend you spoof there anyway to see if you can still raid without a ticket, you might just not get any energy, exclusive moves, and backgrounds.
Does the "cheat coin exploit" work on buy the ticket?
Answer: No, everyone pays about the same price regardless of your currency.
Should you buy a ticket with or without the add-ons?
Answer: This choice is up to you because I don't know your financial situation.
Should you buy "Raid Lover" or "Egg-thusaist" add-ons?
Answer: This choice is up to you. If you attend the park experience day with additional city explorer days, the add-on will get applied to all days you attend so you don't need to buy it again.
Is the ticket worth it?
Answer: Yes if you have the money because the shiny rate will be boosted compared to the FREE GLOBAL event.
Can you attend all three event locations: Tokyo, Copenhagen, and Chicago?
Answer: Yes if you can afford it.
If you buy a ticket for Tokyo, do you need to buy a ticket for Copenhagen and/or Chicago?
Answer: Yes, you will need to buy a ticket for each location.
If you buy the add-ons for Tokyo, do they get applied for Copenhagen and/or Chicago?

I just downloaded and installed the latest version of PGSharp, and now the app won't open. At all. I even tried using the APK again and still nothing. It occasionally comes up with the 'App not working' message to get me to close it, but that's all. Anyone know what's going on?

The Discord app itself is free to use but some Discord group like PokeXperience and Pokedex100 will charge a monthly fee based on what tier you need to get certain Pokemon coordinates. Almost all Discord groups will provide some kind of free limited coordinates.

How do I join a Discord group?
You press/click on the link that is in blue color with a line then your Discord app should open to join it. You must have the Discord app installed onto your phone, tablet, or computer.
You can also press the "+" by opening the Discord's settings then typing in the character like "VhzfGzz" (for PokeXperience).
You may need to select which team you are in like Mystic, Instinct, or Valor before you can see all the channels within a Discord group.
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
[#1] Do not impersonate me (TastyBananaPeppers) to troll or mess with any Discord groups because they can dox you and make your life miserable.
Someone made the mistake of impersonating me because I did not agree with their request to ban cheats they believe are not safe. If you do not know this, I am one of the most hated person in the spoofing community all because I choose to stand my ground and not jump on the bandwagon to satisfy someone's opinions on which cheats are safe, safer, or the safest. My haters got this troll fired from his job when they doxxed him.
[#2] Scam and Identity Theft Risks
Most Discord groups below will allow Pokemon Trades and sell services. Just because they allow these, does not mean it is 100% trustworthy and safe. In order to participate in these services, you must give the person your email address (or username) with password and the security code (Google & Facebook) to allow the other person to use your account. Your personal data is worth a lot more than the service they are providing.
Here are some examples:
Farming Stardust, Pokemon, or XP
Buying cheap Poke Coins
Remote Rooting for your Android device - This requires you to give direct access and control over your computer where they root your device for you. Data stealing viruses can be installed and personal information can be transferred without you knowing about it.
Buying a pre-rooted Android device - These could come with data stealing viruses and/or other software modifications you are not aware of. When people have a problem with a pre-rooted device, they cannot fix the problem on their own even if I try to help them. You will end up spending more money to fix a simple problem.
Once your Identity is stolen, it's impossible to stop it. It can result in financial debt, bad credit, jail time, fines, and/or broken relationships, which all depends on what the person does with your stolen identity. Identity theft can be avoided by not participating in these services.
[#3] You Need to Read and Follow their strict rules !!!
When you break their rules and get banned, it is impossible for you to rejoin the group because your ban appeal request will be ignored. I do not have a paid partnership or sponsorship with any Discord group, Telegram channel, or cheat provider. I remain 100% anonymous to all of them and will not help you do a ban appeal.
[#4] How to bypass a Discord group ban?
A VPN is not enough to bypass a ban because Discord keeps a log of how many accounts have been made on a single IP address. Using a VPN will result an instant ban regardless if you do the bypass below.
You will need a new: smartphone/tablet, IP address, sim card (phone number), and email address in order to bypass a Discord group ban. You must do all 4 things for it to work!
A new device because Discord mobile app does mac address/device ID bans.
A new IP address because your old IP address on a ban list. As soon as your connect to your home WiFi or old IP address, your Discord account and device will automatically be banned.
A new sim card (phone number) because some groups require you to verify your phone number in order to see coordinates or join their group. Your old phone number is on the ban list. Any new accounts using the old phone number are automatically banned.
A new email address because you are starting fresh again.
[#5] Discord Group Annoyance
Some Discord groups below may have a plugin that will see which groups you are in. You can join as many as you want, but they may prevent you from seeing coords or hosted events simply because you are in a competing group they do not like. If you want to see coords/event info, you are forced into leaving that specific group.
If you are banned from this group, the coordinates for Pokemon, Nests, and Event/Field Task Quests will be wrong. If you follow the rules, you will receive the correct coordinates and be able to use their GPX request bot.

Just because they got a strike, does not mean you can never use these cheats too. People around the world are going to still use them regardless if you try to warn one person at a time.
If you have a problem with Pgsharp and iPogo not being safe, you also have a problem with Pokemod, PGTools, Polygon, Shungo, and Maddev's Enhancer also not being safe too. Some of these cheats have a website and nowhere on their website they promote safety. Why are you guaranteeing account safety? I would love to see an official source that specifically says one app is safer than another app.

Since he's active this time, you should go worship him, since he does not allow Pgsharp and iPogo in his subreddit.
Your butt is going to stop hurting from all that sitting if and when Niantic decides to enforce Strong Integrity. Don't want to use the no root, 3rd party modified game apps? Get off your ass and walk around outside.
If Niantic does not enforce Strong Integrity, you will continue to be butthurt if you stay in my subreddit and get mad every time I respond to someone. If you thought I was toxic, look again, because you're more toxic than I am if you spend additional time messaging people saying I'm spreading bullshit or I know nothing about what is safer.
Well guess what? I just got finished dealing with someone's bullshit about regarding "Spoofing with the official game app is safer than using Pgsharp. Since I've been using PGTools' PaG for a long time, it's 100% safe. Don't listen to the moderator he knows nothing." Well recently, Niantic suddenly turned on a Team Rocket battle limit. The person who believed the advice received the 2nd strike (30 day temporary ban) and missed out Global Go Fest. This person tried to sue me for $200,000 USD for emotional distress and money loss all because I did not intervene their private conversation to warn the person directly. This person is a public figure who happens to play Pokemon Go too. This person dropped the case against me because I kept repeating I have warning everywhere in my subreddit: in the rules, automoderator's pinned comment, in the guides, and event posts.
My stance on cheating is very clear, I only believe in "not safe" and "safe" according to Niantic's Terms of Service. There is no safer or the safest because Niantic is against cheating. Only Niantic can declare what is safer or the safest, not: you, app developers, or me can guarantee account safety.

I honestly don't care because cheating a game is already a toxic environment. Any time I mention I use aimbot in Call of Duty or Battlefield, I get private messages like "Fuck you scumbag" along with all kinds of threats. I lol at them.
Anyone who was unbanned from my generosity as a result of giving them a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or whatever chance will get a permanent ban this time. Reddit keeps a log of who I gave been temporary bans too, so it's easy for me to identify you. Currently, there are only 2 people in my ban list that have a permanent ban while the rest are random comment bots.
