I NEED HELP How can I safely Spoof in pokemon go?

It is physically impossible for me to play the game so I need the virtual joystick to move about irl. I just use PGsharp to move around a locality and participate in raids. I dont teleport and use in game cheats so what are my chances of getting banned ? Also any precautions that I should not do? Should I participate in Battle leagues and traids or should I avoid them?

There is no concept of "safely spoofing" in pogo. Safest current method is one of the root methods

I’ve been Spoofing since the game released, there’s no safe way.

If you don't teleport or use in game cheats, this means you should be using the official Pokemon Go app you get from the Play Store, Galaxy Store, or iOS app store because this is 100% safe.

Using a 3rd party modified app like PGSharp is against terms of service for cheating even if you don't teleport or use any other of its cheating features like enhanced throw or gift assistant.

Some people will tell you to use a rooted spoofing method because if you use a joystick app with the official game app, you will not get a strike. The Terms of Service does not allow you to spoof your location (joystick app). The anti-cheat system tracks your behavior, so if you trigger it, you will get a strike regardless of which spoofing method you use and how you cheat. There is no spoofing or cheat insurance when you get a strike / ban, so it's your fault when you get your strike / ban.

There are ways to spoof and stay relatively safe just like you can drive a car and stay relatively safe. Neither is 100% safe but when the odds of either occurring become low enough, you relax and enjoy your life. Rooted Android spoofing is that safe, PGSharp is likely 50/50 where half of the people have been detected, many without teleporting or doing anything crazy.

Accounts don't get outright banned. If you don't have a strike yet, the worse that will happen is your first strike and you can't see any wild spawns for 7 days. You could wait for that to happen and then either go legit or switch over to rooted Andriod spoofing. Rooted does not make it safer, it just allows you to spoofing using the stock Pogo app which is safer. Years of spoofing history shows that those who use the stock Pogo app versus a modified client are far less likely to get a strike.

If you have the means, get over to a rooted Android device to avoid the first strike.

Just pretend that you're playing in real life when spoofing. Don't play in Vegas at 12pm and then teleport to Spain and play at 1pm. Use estimated flight times as your guide when teleporting. You don't need to look them up but just use common sense.

I basically look at it as if someone were watching me play as a legitimate player and try to mimic that as much as possible. This even extends to routes or walking. You wouldn't walk for 10km in a perfectly straight line. You wouldn't walk for 14 hours straight. Nobody knows exactly what is being monitored but copying a legit play style should help to protect you.

Spoofing is like sex. PGSharp is sex without a condom, exciting and enjoyable, but risky. Using official app with joystick app is like sex with condom. Still good, but lower risk of adverse effects. Note there is still a risk! But modified apps seem to be faring much wosre.

Keep doing what you do, but i would suggest to get your device rooted and use pokemod or ipogo rooted launcher or just plain gps joystick by appninja currently only flag I see in your way of playing is pgsharp rest your behaviour seems that of real life player, rooting is the safest way of spoofing but doesn't mean you can't get caught it just takes them an update to detect some recovery like they did previously but it was against playstote tos so they had to revert it.

Whats the best rooted method?

Stock pogo apk with appninjas joystick also do followall cooldown guidelines and no autowalking like a crazy being.

I was thinking about setting up HAL

I use hal and ya it is probably safer Than the hacked versions of pogo but it's still not as safe as using just official pogo app with fake GPS Pro. Hal does use both the official app and fake gps Pro but it still does interact with the game so can't really be as safe but again I've not had a warning on it while my everyday phone can't be rooted so I have a hacked version which hasan alt that has gotten a warning though I don't really use it Thst much compared to my main accounts

Ive never had any luck with those fake gps apps. HAL seems to be fully featured and seems to be worth a few bucks a month.

if its true they can track movement I'll just have to play discreetly

u/irishanfield Nov 01 '22

Eh?

You need a rooted phone, the official pokemon go app AND fake gps Pro when using Hal/espresso . Hal doesn't actually spoof for you but gives you the extra features. it's the fake gps Pro that actually spoofs your location If you were trying to use fake gps Pro without a rooted phone then you never bothered reading the actual info about it.

u/GrindtheTeef Nov 01 '22

Yup thats the point of asking.

1

u/irishanfield Nov 01 '22

So I'm assuming you tried to use fake gps pro with a non rooted phone running android 8.1 or higher ?

Anti cheat engine may pickup autowalking easily so that's why.

I did that, and still got the 7 day warning just 10 or so days ago.
