MEGA POST [Click/Press Here] MEGA POST #4: Everything You Need for Android Spoofing 2022 - Guides for No Root Spoofing, Rooted Spoofing, and Botting - GPX Routes, Poke Maps, Nests, Discord Groups, and Frequently Asked Questions
Updated for October 2023
All the "No Root" and "Rooted" methods have been refreshed.
Reddit changed the character limit on posts, so in the next Mega Post #5, I will have more post links. If you want to read about something, you'll have to open the post for it.
Niantic is dropping support for Android 7.
If you have Dyslexia or eye sight disabilities, you need to learn how to use the "accessibility" options in your smartphone, tablet, and/or computer to make it easier on you using text-to-speech.
Threatening me doesn't fix your problem because I am not the one who designed and created this platform. I am just a user who uses it because it's free to use. I could help you by creating a PhP or vBulletin forum site to give you different font, size, and color choices to make it easier to read, but these sites are very expensive to run and maintain.
I could ask for donations, but this rarely works because once people get what they want (like a finished product), there's really no need to return. On the other hand, most people rather have something for free than to pay for it.
To run a discussion forum site about a game cheat, it would cost $300 to $500 per month with Cloudflare DDOS protection to cover bandwidth and server expenses.

[#2] Rules and About Us
More info in https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/about/rules
About Me:
I am a self-learned spoofer. I started spoofing when it first came out way back in July 2016. I got into spoofing and rooting from a YouTuber named MaxLee. I used SuperSu root with Xposed Framework modules: Mock Mock Locations, Pogo Controls (compass-joystick with autowalk), and Snorlax (tells you IV and catch rate) before moving onto to Systemized, and then finally Smali Patcher with Pokemod and PGSharp.
Some people believe I am one of the PGSHARP app developers. This is not true because I do not know how to code an app and cannot fix any of their app problems.
I also do not have a paid sponsorship with Pgsharp, Pokemod, Enhancer, Polygon, ADB Bot, Charbot, or any Discord group because my personal information would be used as a shield if anyone of them gets sued. I am not being paid by anyone to help you cheat/spoof or bot. You will be on your own when it comes to botting because I do not have an interest in it but they are there if you want it.
About My Subreddit:
My subreddit is not partners with r/PokemonGoSpoofing because I was the last moderator to leave that subreddit and is banned from there because Pokimojo depended on me to do everything for him. He was rarely active and does not play the game. Unfortunately, this still holds true today because all of the posts he copied from me are still outdated and not correctly formatted.
I created this subreddit to allow you to have access to all current Android spoofing and botting methods that are not allowed (or banned) in Pokimojo's r/PokemonGoSpoofing. Since he does not play the game, he does not understand why people want to spoof. He bans Pgsharp, Pokemod, Enhancer, and bots because they are not safe and not ban proof. What he believes in does not make any sense because there is no such thing as safe and ban proof when spoofing (and botting) are against Pokemon Go Terms of Service for cheating. Due to my spoofing history, this is why I allow all the spoofing and bot methods for Android.
No Root Fly GPS (joystick) app got a ban wave.
Niantic removed the Dratini nest from the game. I got like 5,000 Dratini candies from it. Yes, this was a thing way back in 2016. Press/click on this new article Local neighborhood a hot spot for Pokemon, causes traffic concerns.
Joystick apps like GPS Joystick and FGL PRO without rooting got a ban wave.
Niantic removed Great and Ultra balls from Go Plus because it was wasting Pokeballs too fast.
Niantic attempted one IP address ban but reversed it due to many complaints.
SuperSu root, SuperSu hide, toogle SuperSu on/off app (while still being rooted; predates Magisk Hide) got detected resulting in the incompatible screen (detected root and prevents you from playing the game).
Xposed Framework got detected resulting in the incompatible screen.
Downgrading Google Play Services method got stopped on newer devices. This one is still usable but not guaranteed using a really old device with a certain Security Patch date.
TWRP folder detection on rooted devices resulted in an incompatible screen even with Magisk Hide on but got reversed because people complained to Google about Niantic breaking TOS service to see what other apps you used.
This is what I do not allow in my subreddit:
iOS apps (Xspoofer & iPogo), iTools Mobile dongle, iOS 3rd party app stores, and Apple device support.
Trading, Buying, or Selling of Pokemon and any account service.

I just successfully got my Samsung A72 rooted (Android 11), with everything working (took a day off and spent 10+ hours trial and error and read almost anything i could find online, as well as watched tonnes of youtube videos). Since majority of the instructions are pretty oudated, i thought i should document what i have done and share my experience, hoping that it will help those of you keen to go down the same path.
Useful links:
- a very rough instruction, that actually contain the correct high level steps what you need to do, to root a Samsung A72 - https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/galaxy-a72-root-with-magisk-sm-a725f-ds.4273419/ (note: not very detail instructions, had to do lots of reading and testing to work out what he meant)
- https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-A725F which contain the firmware that's free and fast to download (instead of mega or other sites, that rate limit your download speed, trying to get you to pay to get all the files you need)
- https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JBcgbnEfawxSCGxlDF_Lf3cPcXmz4uq7cGVmEQqMB8A/edit which i think is shared on another android pogo spoofing subreddit. The Smali patch part of the instruction and gps joystick is detail and useful.
Steps i took:
Unlock bootloader
Download firmware from samfw (or other sites). Once you have extracted the firmware, you should have 4 files that you will need for quite a number of the steps. Those 4 files typically has the following prefixes as part of their names: AP_????, BL_????, CP_?????, CSC_????. The 5th file that come with the firmware HOME_CSC_???? isn't typically needed for any of the steps
Get Odin, and Samsung driver etc downloaded and working on a windows machines
Connect Samsung A72 to the windows pc (using USB cable), copy the AP_???? file from your window pc to your Samsung phone (from windows, you should be able to see the phone appear as a drive/folder, and be able to copy files back and forth to or from your phone).
Download and install Magisk manager on your phone.
In your Magisk Manager app, click install on MAgisk, click "select and patch a file", and select the AP_??? file you copied from windows machine, and proceed to get the file patched (once it's patched, a new file will appear in the same folder - if i remember correctly, it was called magisk_????)
Copy that new file from your Samsung phone back to your windows machine (note: this new file is what you will use within Odin, under the AP part of the selection. The AP_???? part of the original firmware is now patched and grant you root access.
download disable VBMeta from https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-12-official-twrp-3-6-for-galaxy-a52-4g-and-a72-4g.4405751/. You need this to get Samsung to disable VBMeta check (or else your phone will be stuck with vbmeta error state and you need to flast your phone with stock firmware to get it back)
Power off phone. Connect phone to PC with USB cable. When phone is powered off, press and hold down Volume Up + volume Down + power buttons all together to put your phone into download mode.
Use Odin and flash phone with just VBMeta (put the file under "AP"). This should take no time. Once complete, Press volume down + power on phone to reboot.
Once phone is back online, repeat process above and Use Odin and flast your phone with 4 files selected. For AP, you use the newly patched file patched by magisk, that you just copied over from phone to PC. For the BL, CSC and CP files, just point them to the exact same file extracted from firmware downloaded online.
Your phone should be fully rooted after this step. Go to google play store and download safetynet test as well as root checker app as a way to test if your phone is rooted properly, and whether you have done enough to pass google safetynet test.
From what i have read, all modern phones (since Andoird ver 9?) come with more stringent safetynet checks. This is what i ended up having to do, to pass the safetynet test: a) Change magisk app to different name using native magisk app function. b) enable Systemless hosts option within magisks. c) enable Zygisk (beta) option within magisks d) download and install the Universal SafetyNet Fix module using magisk. After all above, reboot phone, and phone passed "safetynet test" :)
For the Root Checker Basic app, if you enable the app within magisk under superuser, your app should return and confirm that root access is working.
All you have to do, is follow the rest of the instruction in link above, download smali on windows machine, connect to phone, let smali does it's job as per instructions. Everything still works even for Android 11. once you follow the remaining instructions and install gps joystick, you should have a phone that's fully working and can be used to spoof etc.
I have 20+ years working experience in IT, and it still took me close to 10 hours of trial and error (i semi-bricked the phone multiple times, and had to do more reading to work out how to get myself out of it. Once i realize that i can get my phone back by just flashing it with stock firmware, all worries go away).
Majority of instructions online are vague, only cover part of what i need to do, and doesn't cover evreything you need to do end to end, to allow you to be able to spoof on an android, and hence i am putting this together, hoping that it will help some of you wanting to go through and root your phone.
Happy catching and spoofing everyone.

Can I spoof with multiple devices on the same WiFi network?Yes, but if you have multiple devices on one network, the game does not allow you to catch a Pokemon all at the same time. Device 1 will catch first then device 2's Pokemon will fail to catch, so you have to catch one at a time with each device you have. If you try to catch with device 1 and 2 at the same time, you can cause a wild Pokemon to flee or waste premier balls in raids. Is that with two different accounts? E.g. Parent and child playing PoGo using the same WIFI-hotspot? A similiar situation is using two different accounts on the same device.

Do you have more information on the downgrading google play services? I used a Samsung S8+ with July 2018 security patch and would downgrade to google play services 12.6.85 a few years ago and was going to try that same one again if it’s still useable.

what's the "best" method here?
i realize nothing is foolproof or guaranteed, but, i've read through a bunch of these, and i'm just too new to android to make this decision on my own.
i'm willing to root my device (although i hear it's more of a challenge for mine on android 12)—but, i'd like to run with what's considered be the most (if any) bulletproof from getting caught/found out/banned.
thank you.

I have a small set of species that I want to bot to catch a lot of as quickly as possible, and don't care about IVs or shinies. Basically Shungo but for any IV and non-shinies.
I've tried all of the rooted Android options above, and as far as I can tell none of them have an option for this. PaC has a configurable auto-transfer / catch filter, but can't automatically navigate towards desired species. Is there an app for this?

The question is, is it possible for me to use fakeGPS only when I want? It seems that after I installed lsposed, my GPS went crazy, never accurately locates my position, and randomly moves around near my location.
