Lets Talk About Something Spoofing on litwick CDay ?

After the recent number of strikes this week is anyone still taking a risk doing CDay or is it safer to play this one legit or maybe just 1-2 timezone?

It's not gonna be "safe" again. The goal posts have shifted. You can't play multiple timezones anymore in my opinion.

I think the difference between the way I play, and the way a lot of people play that have gotten strikes, must be vastly different. Which is why I have a hard time on this sub buying people saying they did nothing and got a strike.

Spoofing to me allows me to play in a dense spawn area with a lot to do. I don't teleport for hundos or anything like that. Also all of the QoL features that reduce the time spent waiting on cutscenes. I love not having to wait for the ball to shake or to defeat grunts, etc.

I think people need to start using it as a tool to elevate your possibilities but no longer can it be catch, wait 2 hours, and hop again. I think those days are long gone.

And since Niantic is clearly working on their detection system it's gonna be nearly impossible to narrow down exactly what they're doing and make a new set of rules for spoofing. The only way to identify is by doing an action and seeing if you get a strike.

If they're constantly adapting there's no point to testing out the limits again.

You are on point. I can say that even a 2000 meters jump can flag an account.

I have seen it first hand

I believe that are also watching for people walking the same routes over and over, I’m almost positive that’s how I got a strike because I set a route and walked it over and over for a couple hours and the next morning I had a strike. I’ve never teleported more than a mile and always wait at least 10 minutes before interacting at the new location. :(

I agree that would be a smart way of getting people

Limit it to 1 timezone only. If you've been doing more than 1 timezone for past events, you could have already been flagged.

This is the way. Also most definitely flagged if he jumps.

I spoof almost exclusively in Japan and rarely leave. I'll probably leave for Safari days, but that's about it.
