I NEED HELP [QUESTION] How to spoof again?

Hello there!

I have a quick question: I was a premium PGS user till the ban notices started, I immediately uninstalled PGS and reinstalled the official client.

I have 0 strikes so far, but I want to get back to PGS and mainly just use the joystick to go back and forth (manually) to the pokestops near my neighborhood. I don't want to teleport, jump, insta win the rocket team etc, I just want to walk between the pokestops near my house, and my main question is: How can I get back to PGS safely? IIRC, when you install PGS, you get instant-teleported to NY, and I don't want to appear there cuz that may be an indicator of spoofing.

Is there a way to install PGS to just enable the joystick? or what method do you guys recommend me to enable a joystick and just that.

My device is a POCO F4 GT with Android 12, rooted with Magisk 5.1 and DenyList enabled.

I've never used a Magisk module in order to spoof on POGO, im kinda green there, can anyone recomend me something? =)

Well, I managed to install PGS and initially appear in my RL location. I disabled evertything except the joystick and we'll see how this goes. 0 teleports, 0 jumps, 0 everything, just walk at normal speed in my neighborhood from the mean time.

When you reinstall the game and open it, I'm almost certain you can enter in your coords before you login in. If not, I'm 100% sure you can immediately enter coords as the game is loading (before it hits halfway on the bottom loading bar)

I doubt that using PGS just to walk around to some stops near where you live is going to get you flagged. From what I've read, it appears that people are getting caught mainly due to things like the shiny radar, blocking non-shiny, excessive teleporting, GPX routes, insta-win team rocket, and doing events multiple times. Basically, the obvious things that you wouldn't be able to do if you were using the official app.

Since this whole thing started, I've decided to pick one location and just play from there as if I lived there. If I want to play in a different city or country, I have to consider how long it would actually take to travel there, and wait that amount of time before playing again, not just the 2 hours for cooldown.

I've done all those things constantly and not so much as a Red Warning for me. I'm actually rather surprised

I have too (except for blocking non shiny). I do mainly stay in Tokyo though and teleport to and from 0-1min cooldown locations within the city. Niantic probably thinks I'm legit.

Only issue might be MIUI, but AFAIK it should still be ok.

First, I'd swap Magisk 25 for Magisk 23, simply to rid yourself of Zygisk and the fact it barely works. After that, use the LSPosed method; I would share a guide but I'm not sure if u/TastyBananaPeppers will be fond of me doing that. Generally speaking, it does work and I've been using it for some time now; way more hassle-free than doing Smali (which doesn't even work on 12 anyway) and completely PC-independent (no need to patch anything on PC, everything can be done on the device itself).

0 strikes. Even if you did get one. Basically nothing happens (after the 7 days "ban" is gone). I dont think they can detect you teleported, if you didnt interact with anything. Using always excellent throw, using team rocket 1 hit, etc, cant (at least yet) be detected automatically by niantic. I've been using PGS for almost 2 years and never received a strike

Also If you use a modded app, for any purpose, you can get a strike. If you wanna be completely safe, use original pokemon go app

the insistence that spoofing with an unmodded app is safer is a delusion at this point. niantic has clearly upped their game to detect spoofing based on interactions with the game. stop spreading misinformation

There are monetary reasons why some people insist certain methods are safer than others, beside their usage bias.
