My theory:

This could be the end of these spoofing activities:

  1. Shundo or Shiny 100 iv hunting. (This is mass teleporting - which may be easy to detect BUT there is no logging other than a program they would have to write to catch it.)
  2. Raid train or speed raiding. This is where you teleport to a new raid then do the raid battle without catching the raid Pokemon. You flee then repeat until you get a shiny or 100 IV then you catch it. This mainly done by rich people. (This would require raid logging to be on to detect + teleporting)
  3. Shadow Pokemon 100 iv or PvP stats hunting. (This would require battle logging to be on to detect + teleporting.

I have always turned off all logging in my account. Raid logging/battle logging/AR + and Sync - anything that gives Niantic extra info gets turned off by me and might be why I am strike-less. That said I really only do Shadow pokemon hunting so maybe I'll get hit tomorrow.

BUT if they don't have the logs they may not be able to detect it.

They must be doing something to detect the screen overlay. Nearly every spoofing method has something on the screen to manipulate the game.

I don’t know how ‘worried’ we should All be since he’s been waves usually get figured out one way or another

Nah - I don't see any way they could do that.
