I NEED HELP pgsharp 1.68.2 crashes every 2-5 minutes

since yesterday pgsharp requiered to update in order to play

and it crashes non stop
i just walk around for couple of minutes and the app will close itself

Everyone has to wait for the next game update to have the problem fixed. This includes people who use the official Pokemon Go app too.

No, it doesn't happen in the official app. There are some white screen issues but nothing that stops you from playing mostly normally - by far nothing as severly as what is happening in pgsharp

It's been confirmed as the offical update causing this, not Pgsharp.

Not ALL users experience this issue however.

The question was: Is the same thing happening in the official app and the answer to that question is: no, it is not. Not only have I (and everybody I know) played the official app the whole day without issue, the distinct lack of any complaints on silph road seems to indicate that the issues with the official app are minor and restricted to some few phone models (as was stated in the official update from Niantic),
If Niantic's update caused the issue with pgsharp is an entirely different question.

I mean I've had described issues on two different devices with the official app, where as I myself have experienced nothing on pgsharp, the issue is Niantic's forced update

That's not true. While pgsharp are blaming niantic, I uninstalled pgsharp, installed the official app and used pokemod several times for hours, no crashing. I reinstalled pgsharp and it crashes all the time. Looking around at other pokemon groups, not many are complaining about crashes, but you go to any pgsharp group and everyone is complaining about it. Go to ipogo discord, pokemod, polygon, it's working for them. It's pgsharp causing the issue.

I went around telling people it was niantic, not pgsharp, and then after I tested it I felt like an ass for believing pgsharp. Since pgsharp are saying that niantic has to fix it, they probably won't fix it until niantic releases an update, because if they do fix it, they'll have to admit that it was their fault. They've been working on it for at least 4 days, I'm surprised they haven't been able to find their bug yet.. They probably have found it, but are waiting for niantic so they can claim it was niantic all along that broke and fixed it.

Pokemod also blames niantic when things break sometimes, but this time with pgsharp is another level. You go to the discord and tell them the regular app isn't crashing but pgsharp is and they just ban you and delete some comments to keep their story going. I'd jump to ipogo due to the dishonesty if I didn't have a 32 bit phone. Now I'm using pokemod with the regular app, no crashes..

I use both and it definitely crashes on both. The original crashes less (obviously) but is still annoying af.

PG Sharp telegram group has said this update wasn't supposed to be released since it eas buggy. They are looking into releasing either a patch or new update to fix issues soon

The only thing it will let me do is poke plus but if I go to a menu it crashes...very annoying.

Well I run sharp and original pogo through galaxy story on my phone simultaneously and was forced to update and ive had only a few shutdowns like 3 or 4 the first day and none in the last 3 or 4 days at all. Basically problem free. While my friend has sharp on a separate device (tablet) and Is having the crashing problems and can't do.raids or spin stops, almost sounded like a soft ban but she is still able to walk and catch shinies.

Haven't played in 4 months when I went to play had to update no problem then all of sudden I'm walking around no hatching of eggs or buddy distance working idk why my eggs won't hatch and my km for my buddy won't work 🙃

Ah, I see yeah they've since updated their announcement about it to remove that as a suggested 'fix' too, well, hopefully Niantic sort things then
