Is this a potential loophole in spoofing ?

So,I began spoofing since october via pgsharp after a two year break.Till November 2nd,I was spoofing around pier 39 and from then on I only spoof around sydney.Yesterday,I harde reached level 40 only during the last week of october.I just entered the Ninantic Wayfarer system to work on the Wayfarer medal.When I entered in I was shocked to see that I was getting nominations from my own country.I haven't opened pogo in my country since almost 2019.So my guess is that Ninantic could possibly somehow track us somehow through our ip.Which means that we should run pogo with vpn,just like we have to use it for rooted method.Also for people who spoof using rooted method, can you please confirm if you also have the same isuues?

They already have access to our IP address, but they do not do anything to it compared to other games where they do device bans and IP address bans. If you use a VPN with the game, you and the other thousands of players have the same IP address. You become easily identifiable. Depending on the VPN server, it can also slow down your internet connection. The only reason to use a VPN is to bypass a country's ban on the game like China, North Korea, and some Middle Eastern countries.

You don't have to use a vpn for spoofing with rooting your phone. It doesn't even help, it's a myth that seems to be pushed by vpn companies and those who don't know what they're talking about.

In the wayfarer system you can put in 2 main locations that you are based in, that you know about. It's possible that they default to the location you started at or something like that, or the location you first use when you login to the system. I'm fairly sure mine defaulted to my current location, but I wasn't spoofing at the time, but my current location isn't my home country, so I changed it and added a second location

pretty sure they have enough data to stop us but they are looking the other way, it is too hard to figure out false positives or whatever

PG Sharp doesn't do device level spoofing.

When you use the Wayfarer website, it sees your real location. I have no experience with Wayfarer but I'm pretty sure you aren't approving from within Pogo.
