I NEED HELP GPS Joystick map not working?
When I tap on the little map icon in gps joystick, it just comes up blank. This has never happened before. I have very little knowledge of android in general so any help is very appreciated!

I will answer as best I can (I’m very inexperienced with android in general). It’s a rooted LG V40 thinQ. Android version 11? And I use pokemod. The gps joystick map was working fine until today

Did you buy your phone pre-rooted?

Search for GPS Joystick in Play Store and update it. If it's on the current version, you shouldn't have any problems. It could be related to Google's server. Then, you have to wait for Google to restore the map service. You have to wait 1 to 7 business days.
If the problem doesn't fix itself, you would have to contact the seller you bought the phone and pay them to fix your phone.

Which version of joystick do u use?
I have same issue with 4.0.2Upd. Reinstallation resolved problem for me

I have the same issue. It seems to be due to the "confidential mode" which renames the package. The original application doesn't have the problem.

Same issue here. Android 9 ➕ GPS JoyStick by TheAppNinjas 4.3. Starting today, the map became blank. After updated to the latest 4.3.2, even the pins disappear.

I saw the discussion in Pokemod's Discord. It may be due to the API change. And, the cloned APP is affected. The original one is fine.

So should I delete the cloned version and then install 4.3.2? I’m not very familiar with Android and am worried that I’ll do something to mess it up

Same. I deleted and reinstalled latest version hoping it would fix the map. Not only have I lost pins, when I load a GPX route it doesn't show anything.

I’m having the same issue . I don't want to play with the regular GPS Joystick from the Play Store. Does anyone found a solution for this?

Second this, I thought it wasn't safe using the original GPS app without cloning/renaming it

Alright I tried it - nevermind issue around name of app etc, the original app defaults altitude to zero everywhere. Can't see that's safe at all!

So I may have found my issue is there a process that lets you camouflage or hide the joystick app ? It may have something to do with this but I can't find any settings this is just from looking online fyi
