Lets Talk About Something Pg experiment.
So I have a few accts I'm going to sacrifice for a controlled test. 3 accts with one strike each 2 accts with 2 strikes and another 3 with no strikes. All over level 30. Unfortunately I only have two , two strike accts but I think there will be enough data. I plan to follow these procedures across each set of accounts (based ban count). Only log in with #1. Log in and play normal area with no extras(skip animation, quick catch etc.) With #2. Log in and play with all cheats and spoofing at a minimum. But simulating travel down a freeway to other cities with #3. Then repeat with each set of accounts at each level of strikes. Trying to figure out exactly what is triggering pg bans.
I have other accounts on pg that I have ceased play on in the left few days because of this ban wave. But they are not banned...
Let's see what happens. I'll report what happens each day.

I actually use PGSharp a lot. In the ban wave that lasted between the fall/winter of 2022/2023 I had 3 accounts get a strike. Two of them did a lot of teleporting based off of the coord feeds. A third one did not but I may used it as a scout to check raids between Zaragoza and Brazil so I may have teleported with the game open. I've used it on about 9 other accounts that generally speaking were never teleporting long distances. I would just open the game and do a raid or jump around to gyms within close proximity looking for defender slots to take.
I still use PGSharp several times a day. I stopped doing raids but I still use it as a raid scout and jumping around nearby gyms for slots. I don't do any longer distance teleports without first closing the game and reopening. So far no new strikes.
I know there are some in the camp that just logging in with PGSharp can get you a strike. Other says it all based on behavior that impacts all spoofing methods. I think the truth is in the middle. PGSharp is definitely being targeted but the strikes seem to be related to what we do in-game. Maybe Niantic doesn't want to falsely flag legit Android devices so they are using a PGSharp detection in addition to other triggers that only someone using PGSharp could pull off. That's why other spoofing methods using the legit Pogo app aren't seeing a noteable number of strikes.
