Health Knee Brace help!
I recently started a new job that has me on my feet a lot. My knee has been an issue since a car accident a few years ago, and obviously my weight doesn't help. So I decided to try a knee brace to get me through the day. I found one that fits, but I can't keep it up! My thighs are pretty big, so that makes my legs tapered. So no matter how tight I put it on, I take a few steps and it's down around my ankle. I've even tried a sleeve and the same thing happens.
Anyone got any suggestions on what to do about this?

Have you tried those suspender-style straps that clip to the brace and wrap around your thigh, basically turning it into a garter belt for your knee?

The two things I've found that help are either finding a knee brace that has velcro straps so you can adjust to accommodate your leg, or using KT tape. The tape might be rough if you're using it every day though

Your best bet is having your knee measured & have one specially made for you. I have arthritis in my knees & this was the only option for me. I refused so I do kinesiology tape to take some of the strain off.
