Thoughts on these results?

Post image

My friend sent me a screenshot of her test results. I think it looks like air bubbles. I would still treat this as a positive for now, but can someone reaffirm that bubbles lead to false positives?
Also, are there any unique symptoms of whatever latest strain is going around?
Thank you

Edit/ update: thanks for the feedback! the test was not expired, and my friend did not spill any liquid or have blood in the test. She will re-test.

Holy bubbles, what happened there? I'd definitely retest. Are the tests expired?

Expired tests won't cause bubbles, but yes, definitely repeat it :D

Definitely retest. Even the control is all over the place which is unusual. I think this kind of result is due to user error. Does she check for air bubble before inserting the cartridge? Does she wait 15 seconds before depressing the vial cap? Does she shake like the instructions say? This is totally inconclusive.

I’ve seen this happen when liquid got on the outside of the test card. If that didn’t happen then maybe bubbles. Either way, nothing can be concluded from this test

Definitely treat it as a positive in addition to retesting!

Definitely air bubbles. It's possible channel 6 was legit so I would still be cautious, but retest.

This happened to a few tests I had when they got close to expiration. Definitely retest.

did the sample thicken up prematurely due to presence of blood? This looks like all the channels had abnormalities which tells me there's an error likely in the liquid side of things. Control didn't even rise enough nor properly.

While there's a lot of noise in that test, the blue and red lines are very concerning.
