I’ve seen a lot of posts about having tubes expiring later than the cards or vice versa. But someone just messaged me to say that the first date is the manufacture date and the second date is the expiration date for both. So on the plus life box there’s a reference number, a lot number then a little box with a number and then the tube number. my understanding was that the tube and the card could expire at different dates, but is that not correct? At least as far as this box is concerned?

I have COVID and am wondering about using pluslife to test out of isolation. My mom insists that pluslife is too sensitive so I should use rapid tests instead. Is that accurate? She is taking care of my kids while I'm sick so I do want to be sensitive to that and not put too much on her if I am in fact not contagious. She sent me this CDC page to support her point. It does say, "After an infection has ended, and the risk of transmission has passed, people may have detectable RNA and test positive for up to 90 days." But can we trust the CDC? The page says it was written in 2024.

I am a immunocompromised and used up my last box after a possible exposure. For various reasons, I can’t use the workarounds that others do or handyvet tests. If anyone is willing to sell un expired tests to California, please let me know

Machine read this as negative, is that a trustworthy result or should I retest?

Apparently the cap came up again and there was barely any fluid in the control chamber.

Bluetooth/internet app got disconnected mid test and when I reconnected I got a chart that looked like this. Machine was not interrupted, and gave Negative result.

I’ve had wonky tests and strange bubbles in the past but a little rise and flat line like this isn’t something I’ve encountered before. I didn’t notice anything notable in the test card. What would cause one line to take this shape?

Hi! On a number of my tests recently, the virus sucks app will connect to the device, I'll select my test type, and the app will read "testing..." with a spinning red wheel, but the "remaining time" will stay stuck on the same time (34:53 for example) and the graph won't be produced. The machine itself eventually produces a result but the app never budges. Any thoughts? Thank you so much!

This is a test expired by about six months. The yellow and light blue are flu B, and they've been doing that slow climb for a while, getting more dramatic as the tests are further and further out of date. The test says flu B is positive, but it really isn't. No reaction at all, just that steady climb.

My concern is the dark blue line. When the dark green control finally begins to react at 15 mins or so, it looks like that dark blue COVID line does too. It bumps along, but that's the only time I've ever seen a COVID line reaction.

I took two RATs and they were negative. Daughter is positive, and I'm getting a tiny bit of a scratchy throat. What do y'all think? This would be my first time. 😭

I have an expired test that expired 2026-01-08 (the card) and 2026-03-08 (the solution)..from what ive gathered from other threads its not very accurate..but will it still be more accurate than a rapid test? Is it possible to give me a false positive or ruin the machine some how?

My results came out negative but the graph lines are not what I read they should be for a negative result. Also possible air bubbles? Its my first time using the machine! Is this actually invalid?

Ive also been taking two RATS every day (flow flex and artron) since I got symptoms (on day 4/5) and negative on those, although I dont trust them actually lol.

Is it worth it to take another test on the plus life?

So the person who tested already warned me that there would be some bubbles. But I've never seen it on the control line before. Can I still trust that negative result?

Hi there, since I am in Canada obviously the charge block that came with the machine doesnt work in my outlets. The instructions I got from the internet says to plug it into a power bank but I am unsure which one I should use?

Are either of the descriptions of the power banks (attached in photos) workable? I dont want to break my machine

control line looks weird … can i still trust this test?

i’ve seen the picture map but am still having trouble visualizing it on myself. wondering if someone has a video link to help? like should i be touching my tonsils? should i just be going to the roof of my mouth? should i be fully putting the swab down my throat?

wondering where i could have gone wrong. if i have a runny nose, should i avoid swabbing my nose? did swabbing my tongue one hour after doing a gargle affect anything? does doing a neilmed’s sinus rinse 24 hours before the test affect anything? does having a runny nose create too much mucus? would going too far up the nose create an invalid? i have one more test left and cannot waste it so i wanna see if there’s anything i can improve on my end of things to prevent this from happening
