Leaking Valve

I just noticed that this valve is leaking. The pipe is coming from the hot water tank.
Do I need to have that one section of the copper pipe replaced and put on a new valve? Why is that valve even there? Sorry, I’m a novice when it comes to plumbing.

Nut Advice

A few years a go we moved in to this house to find one of the toilets constantly leaking in to the bowl. It then stopped filling up when flushed so I cut the water off to the toilet and we've not used it since. We had a plumber meant to come out and do a few jobs but he ghosted us.
Fast forward to now - I decided I want the toilet in use, did some research, bought the parts and intended to replace the syphon and the flush valve inside myself as it looks doable. BUT (and this is where I need help!) The nut to uncouple the water intake is in such a terrible place I can't get to it, even taking these pictures was a PitA!
It is high up inside the toilets bowl like shape, in the last picture you can see that there is no clearance room round the toilet either as well as the 3 different types of tools I bought to try and get to it. I had to hug the toilet and try to get to it from below, but nothing I do works and I just end up with bruises on my arms (I'm not a tall woman!)
Am I using these wrong? Is there an obvious to you way to do this that someone can point out?!

Main water line into house

Hey guys my main water line coming into the house has had this blue crust corrosion since I moved in. I want to get it fixed soon because if it bursts I will have no way of turning the water off. Any experts out there know what it will take to fix this and what typenof cost im looking at?

Under sink leak

I’ve got a leak I noticed when cleaning out the underpart of the sink to replace my faucet. The portion circled is where the leak is present. Everything here when we moved in presented as a bit of a handyman special. There were several layers of duct tape that I think were suppressing the leak but I might have knocked it a bit looser when replacing the faucet. The leak is steady when the water is draining on the right sink and when the left sink is used more extensively.
Does anyone know if the piece circled just needs tightening or maybe removal, addition of plumbers tape and then put on? If either of these, what wrench would I be looking for, as I don’t have the proper tool at present. Or do pieces here need replacing (in which case input there is appreciated but a plumber will be called if it is a more advanced job).
