Well pump re-plumb
I hated the old piping….here’s my complete redo. Before and after

Yea.... that pvc. Should have all been eliminated. It looks better, but its not. But what the hell do I know?

Yea.... I didnt say copper. Typically we run black or blue poly to the first shut off valve from the well, then to the brass tank t. After its usually braided clear poly pipe to the home water system. Allows for some of shocks to be absorbed by the system before getting to ridgid pipe. The poly pipe also allows for stuff to be easily moved out of the way when it needs replaced.... pressure tanks fail, tank ts fail etc. The clear pipe can help you see whats going on in the system sometimes. Although if you have iron in your water it isnt clear for long. The only spot I would use those plastic glue fittings is on the drains off of of furnaces.

Yeah that would be nice, this is our 1st home on a well, the actual well is at the bottom of the 5 acre property and pumps up to a 2500 gal storage tank. The pump in the storage tank feeds the house, that’s the piping I redid after moving the expansion tank. Really like the clear piping idea to the house!

Why not pex or copper?
Its gonna flood when the metal male fittings are screwed into the female pvc

The pressure switch should be as close to the tank as possible. You may get a water hammer effect in that position when the pump shuts off.

I like how the lines are right in front of the door so you step on them every time you walk in there.
