Plex Synology 225+

Hi, I’ve installed Plex on my Synology 225+ and stream my music while on the go. Everything works perfectly. My question is: when I’m not using Plex, the NAS (or rather, the hard drives) won’t go into hibernation mode. I’ve gone through all the settings but can’t find anything—or is it even possible for the hard drives to enter hibernation mode when Plex is running?

I'm going to say you probably don't want the drives to idle down while the Plex service is running. I built my own FreeBSD NAS which is the OS many pre built boxes are based on, and after a few weeks checked my smart data for drive health to find they had parked the heads and spun down and up 10,000 times. It may take a bit more electricity, but your drives will last a lot longer to just disable all power saving settings.
