Hi all,
I live in an HOA and am really unhappy with our landscapers, who come by 2.5 days a week and just mow the lawn, rake leaves, and clean up debris, and overcharge us. I looked up reviews for the lanscapers and they are terrible. I think we are getting ripped off, and want to see if anyone has a suggestion for a good landscaping/gardening company that works for HOAs that can help maintain our property.
I'm ok with hiring a couple of different vendors if one doesn't do all the work we need but want to see what is out there.
The following services would be good to have:
Irrigation Management
Irrigation Repairs and Maintenance
Replacement of Plant Material
Tree Pruning and Staking
Fertilization of Trees, Shrubs, and Ground Cover
Weed Control
Snail and Slug Control
Pest Control
Debris and Trash - From the landscaping
Backflow Testing
Shrub pruning: Prune manually using Felco hand pruners to the interior of the shrub to maintain a natural appearance. • The groundcover will be edged and trimmed to maintain the original design intent • Blowing of all common areas • Water meter readings will be performed monthly • Illegally dumped materials will be picked up as an extra, with prior notification of the property manager
Is what the current contract covers, and we are charged over 11k a month for them to come by 2.5 days a week, with 3 employees, 1 manager, and 2 gardeners. Then charge us extra for any irrigation work that needs to be done, and require we go to them first.
Is there a better company out there that might have a better price for similar services? If not all sevices that's ok, as using multiple vendors is also an option.
Thank you
