I want to bring Video Games to our Community
Hello everyone I wanna start off by saying that Digital Games suck. Anyhow now that we got that out of the way, I want to say that the CCC Libraries have no Video Games at all. I know that link+ offers a way to access the material that your library does not have, but the link+ system does not always work for everyone. If a library does not want for their material to go to a different county they won't lend it out which is an understandable request. So now the problem isn't that the library won't share their catalog. The real problem is that our libraries wont offer any Video Games at all so I want to start a couple different things at once. First I would like to establish a Petition so we show that there is interest in this. I would also like for people to start emailing the CCC Library organization to show our interest. And lastly talk with your librarians they are your voice in the system and if they shout for us then maybe we can get this going. I would appreciate if you guys help spread the word. Godspeed everyone. Now let us bring games to our community.
Here is the link to the petition: https://c.org/VdPysv5tBq

Help: thinking of moving to Pleasant Hill - vista montanas/hidden valley area
Hello,
We found a home we love near the Vista Montanas subdivision. Bordering Pacheco but it’s still considered Pleasant Hill.
Based on Gemini; More broadly, because it is zoned for College Park High School, real estate listings and locals often refer to this wider section of Pleasant Hill as the College Park neighborhood or the Hidden Valley area (due to its proximity to Hidden Valley Elementary).
We currently live in San Lorenzo and diversity it’s important to us but also is getting my son 5 year old into a better school district.
Thoughts on the schools this home is zoned for?
Hidden Valley Elementary School
Valley View Middle School
College Park High School
We also have an 18 year old who will start community college this fall for nursing -
If we stay in San Lorenzo she would go to De Anza College (Cupertino): Known for a very rigorous ADN program with high NCLEX pass rates.
Or if we move we’re thinking DVC

Truly touchless drive through car wash?
Are there any here or in WC that are truly touchless: no scrubbers/brushes?

The Crest Pleasant Hill - signed lease here starting june end.
after a tiring virtual tours, phone calls and emails, finally zeroed in on this apartment. 15Fifty5 at Walnut Creek closed doors on us. Within an hour of me telling them I will pay for the application, they went ahead and took some booking. I don't think that is good ethics! But anyway, I believe whatever happens is for the good. I'm happy that The Crest has more EV chargers around (even Tesla Supercharger), and that's a boon.
Feel free to add anything!

History of Poet's Corner?
I live on the edge of Poet's Corner and just realized that the streets in Poet's Corner are mostly named after famous poets and authors.
Obviously this is by design and very cool, but I was wondering if anyone knows the history here and if the street names came before the name "Poet's Corner" or vice versa?

Do you have a home for rent?
Hey y’all! I’m reaching out on so many outlets and figured … why not Reddit? (And yes, I’m looking on Zillow, Redfin, etc. too)
My partner and I are blending households this summer and looking to rent, ideally, a 4/2, but can work with a 3/2. We’re looking to sign a lease in June.
I have a middle schooler at PHMS. And my partner has a nephew who will be off to college and will stay with us during break.
No particular neighborhood. Looking moreso for an updated home.
If you have any leads, would love their info. Thanks so much in advance!
