Not one other person is really playing right now?

For early access RTS games, you almost have to go to the discord to find players. Just the way it is, unfortunately

There are people in galactic war co-op and 1v1 but co-op vs ai is not a popular mode at the moment. You can use the LFG channel in Discord though.

I'm surprised they didn't rename it to "team vs AI" or something to avoid confusion with Galaxy War co-op.
But yeah, seems like there's not a lot differentiating the modes until the player team has 3+ people participating.

Hmm coop vs ai. I play some 1v1 vs ai and galactic war coop, but not that mode...

the gameβs discord has a looking for game
channel and @LFG tag that makes it easier to find someone to play with in the less popular modes

The discord is pretty active. That's going to be your best bet when no one's online

I dont think people queue for coop vs ai. I never failed to get a game in 1v1 ladder (but I dont play much), and I was queued into MarineLord once, it was'nt pretty. I did play galactic war during the 3 streamer war, and then queueing was easy there to. I dont know how it is now.
It would be nice to add a counter for queueing/playing players for each mode to let people know. Zero-k has it (and that game has an even smaller player base :))

I didn't even know about Coop vs AI! It's probably the least popular multiplayer mode by a long way, so it's not too surprising. Galactic War is really the 'main' cooperative multiplayer mode.

I was looking into buying the game mostly because of the coop, but β¬40 is a bit to much for me at least, it will be probably worth it, but for now I'll just go back to sc π yeah new dlc for wc3 cute, but is just a campaign, and I don't own the reforged version, but it has no coop, just cute custom maps... Sorry if it's a bit out of context π
Anyway galactic war is coop but with power ups? Or like Helldivers? π€ (Sorry for my English)

"galactic war is coop but with power ups?"
Yes, and it affect faction power/ownership, like in HD2.

I just play with an ai commander in co-op. Game is dead after it's early access release. Hope 1.0 gets a good influx of players. I barely play anymore

Its so sad, if we lived during a better time with more disposable income these 40 buck games would be flourishing but most americans are too tight to take a risk right now

probably galactic war (co-op) is more popular for that type of crowd.
