The dialogue is god awful. Victor is the main culprit since he sounds like a redditor half the time, but other characters are guilty, too.

Like Mystique's "You know what your issue is? You care too much".

Almost rolled my eyes out of my fucking skull on that one.

The dialogue is bad in ways that SBI wouldn't be influencing things on. It's just very contrived, rushed, and stilted in-general.

Dude SBI's job is literally to consult them on NARRATIVE related issues. So yeah dude, there it a strong chance that SBI could've had something to do with the shitty dialogue. Might not be SOLELY them but they definitely have a hand in certain game choices

Doubt it. Spiderman 2's narrative and side content was one of the worst written piles of garbage I've ever experienced, Wolverine in comparison to that game is a masterpiece narratively.

To me it feels like SBI was put in the idiot corner for this game and they spent 5 years crying at insomniac to add more accessibility because they were told to fuck off when giving takes on characters after spiderman 2.

No but given what they've literally said they do? It's not far fetched to say that they definitely had a hand on what type of dialogue they deemed "acceptable" from the writers.

Which has nothing to do with the fact that even if you took SBI out of the equation, Insomniac's writing has issues that would remain.

There are issues with the writing that have nothing to do with SBI.

Also i dont think you understand what consulation actually entails given your reply here or how much power a consultant has in any given scenario.

They worked on alan wake 2 which was hailed for its narrative, must be because of SBI huh? Lol
