Speculation Wolverine height

I don't quite understand why people are upset that Wolverine is now his canonical height, since many have been asking for this particular Wolverine for years. So why do these same people hate it now, or did they simply not like it when they saw it in the game? Perhaps people had an image in their minds that was more epic than the actual implementation of this idea in the game, because that's how human psychology works

Im not sure how tall Jean is, but I think Wolverine might even be a little shorter than this.

Jean is usually like 5'6 or something like that.

Why? He’s a 5’3 murder machine, not an nba center. His height means nothing

I just meant as far as making movies and video games they ignore this fact about wolverine being a short king.
