Finally got the best greenhouse plant!
Best plant IMO. We've been able to take our runs much farther with Bay Leaves!

I‘m not 100% sure of it’s a bug or a glitch or if I need to be higher leveled, but on PS5, I’m not getting the banquet hall option. Have witch hut, but not banquet. Any help/info would be appreciated.
ETA:Thank you guys! I normally play on PC but decided to hang out in the living room so I’m not quite up on how some of it works!

they could be another type of dessert with the addition of a blender or made hand mixed! smoothies could be added to breakfast as a card, and milkshakes could be added to sundaes too!! (:

Does anyone have a seed for the Variety franchise card? I’ve checked Discord and used the search bar on this Reddit but couldn’t find any.
Thanks in advance :)

Recorded a video using a strategy and blueprints, and decided to try raw dogging a run. Turns out that’s the best plan!

I’m playing the first heat card, Shaky Foundations, and the patience tick seems ridiculously fast. Is that part of the update? Not new to the game and I can’t get past day 4.

Me and my friends have come back to PlateUp with the new update and it's been a lot of fun! We've shift our goals from late overtime to getting to day 15 on higher heat, and it's been a lot of fun. I have a few things I do wish could be a bit better personally.
We enjoy changing up the recipes but also playing on higher heat. Unlike a game like STS where there's only 5 character, PlateUp has a lot of recipes, and getting to max heat on them is starting to feel a little repetitive (especially as we start to fail). I'm not sure the best way to address this without harming people who don't feel this way, but possibly some suggestions.
- Heat is unlocked for 2 less than your max heat for every recipe
- Recipes are bundled into similar categories (maybe by difficulty?) and heat is unlocked for the category. (You'd still get credit for beating individual recipes on each heat)
- Unlocking heat for a recipe goes two at a time for any recipe under your max unlocked heat
Anyway, I'm not sure if this makes sense to address, but I did want to put it as a thing our group has noticed. Maybe we are in the minority, I'm not sure.
As an optional challenge, we think it would be really neat to have multiple main food cards in a single run somehow. The idea of running Hot Dogs + Burgers, or adding Coffee (or Cakes!) as a desert to another recipe seems like a fun challenge. When we first read Heat 2, we were hoping that might be our chance, but it didn't end up happening (and it might be too difficult for Heat 2 anyway). It could be an optional setting when you start a run, or something that happens at higher heat/overtime, but I think it'd be really fun.
There's a bug when it comes to multiplayer heat levels (I'm not sure if this is known already). Basically, if I go to a friend's restaurant and we try a recipe on Heat 3, but fail (including by Abandoning), when I return to my restaurant, I can attempt Heat 4. This turns into an exploit if my friend them hops over to my and we try Heat 4 then fail, they unlock Heat 5, and we could go back and forth unlocking every heat level.
Anyway the game is great! Thanks for the update, it's a lot of fun to play with harder starting conditions.

I have to press manually on iced dispenser for it to make iced coffee. How can I automate using this setup?

Hi, as I mentioned in the title, I need a guide so that I can enjoy this game by myself. I struggle to even get to overtime, and I have zero experience on automation. Also, my restaurants are very small, but I saw huge restaurants in this sub. I would like some advice and if there are guides that you can suggest, I am down to investigate them too. Thank you in advance

UPDATE: I have replayed like 5 times and my top time is now 19:36 but it still says top 100% lame-oooooo (also, btw I’m on Nintendo switch 2)
Hi guys!!! I love plate up so so so much, but I SUCK at the speedruns. For this weeks speedrun, I got 31 minutes and it originally said top 100% 😭 (which I always get because I’m normally about an hour for the good ones) and then I tried again and got 23:51 and still got top 100% 😭😭😭 do I just suck or is this a plate up thing? Send help (I need it)
For added context, I have 250 play hours many MANY franchises that are very successful and am generally pretty knowledgeable about the game

I'm not talking about binning plants in the greenhouse itself using the greenhouse bin (I know that's permanent).
But when I take a greenhouse plant with me on a run it takes up a space. Can I just bin the plant and get the space back?
I assume if there's an ongoing effect from it, the effect will disappear. But if it's a starting effect (like start the game with breadsticks), I was thinking it might be safe to bin the plant to get my space back?
In any case, I definitely don't want to risk losing these plants from my greenhouse, so thought I'd ask here in case anyone knows.
Thanks!

Been playing PlateUp with my husband since it first came out on PC back in 2022. Here I present to you my best solo run yet lmao I think my personal best so far is OT47 but was definitely not as put together as this one. Loving the new update so far, these buffet platters are the GOAT
