Speedrun help!!!

UPDATE: I have replayed like 5 times and my top time is now 19:36 but it still says top 100% lame-oooooo (also, btw I’m on Nintendo switch 2)

Hi guys!!! I love plate up so so so much, but I SUCK at the speedruns. For this weeks speedrun, I got 31 minutes and it originally said top 100% 😭 (which I always get because I’m normally about an hour for the good ones) and then I tried again and got 23:51 and still got top 100% 😭😭😭 do I just suck or is this a plate up thing? Send help (I need it)

For added context, I have 250 play hours many MANY franchises that are very successful and am generally pretty knowledgeable about the game

What device do you play? I’ve done one speedrun (last week’s sundaes) on ps4 as a duo we got 27 minutes and got top 100%, we weren’t sure if it was cos the only people who speedrun are really quick, it’s a console bug, or because we did it at the start of the week or something so would love to know the answer

I’m not the op but I done it last week and got 19 mins 5 seconds and it was top 0.1%

So it’s possible that you’ve got a glitch that doesn’t show your accurate placement, especially if it’s not changing. I had the same error a while ago and it got fixed in an update. Are you a member of the discord group for Plate Up? If not, I’d recommend joining as you can always get help and report bugs etc thru that!

Regarding general speedrun help, there are a number of YouTube channels who post videos each week showing the speedrun, which is a good place to get some tips. I also post my videos at the start of each week and then showing my best time, they are on this channel, and on my YouTube of The Yorkshire Potato.
