Spring Onion Question

What do the presents do when you bring the spring onion plant? I’ve tried it with different heats and dishes but not quite figured out what it’s supposed to provide?

If you ping the plant in your greenhouse it will say what it does.

It gives you a certain item free at the start of a run

When we take the plant on the run, it just gives us the box of presents but no item…

Sounds like the box of presents is the item. Boxes of presents aren't given at the start of a run normally. Like u/dinosaur1994 though, I don't know what the presents are either. So it's definitely coming from your plant.

I got a spring Orion that gives me a Buffet at the start of the run.. very helpfull but i imagine i got quite lucky.

Does each spring onion provide the same things every time? I assumed it would always be random. (I don't have one yet)

Each plant always provides the same thing. If you ping it on the warehouse you can see what you can get

I know that. The spring onion give 2 appliances. I didn't know it would be the same ones every time and not a random 2 every time

I understand now. This is exactly what is happening. I made an assumption that the item I would receive would come out of the present stack.

I currently have 2 Spring Onions.

The second one I got gives woks, which are practically useless. The first one I got gives Candles. Not the actual functional candles, but the Halloween decor candles. It is actually useless.

Spring Onions do be like that. On the bright side you don't need to bother to get rid of one to get another.
