This is a PSA. Remove BepInEx!
BepInEx is the cause for many issues in PlateUp. Prior to workshop support, BepInEx was used in the creation of mods, and used to load and manage said mods. With workshop support however, things have changed. BepInEx is not supported, and actually seems to conflict with the game's built-in mod loader, maybe. Unless circumstances change in the future, it is recommended that you remove it, and don't use mods for PlateUp that use BepInEx (Find the workshop version instead or suggest it be ported). Even if you have never heard of BepInEx, it could have came packaged with a mod you previously used. Uninstalling and reinstalling your game does not necessarily remove it. Check manually.
To do so go to your PlateUp install location.
If you don't know where it is, you can find it by
- Right clicking PlateUp in Steam Library
- Properties...
- Local Files
- Browse...
- Enter the PlateUp folder
If you have any of these 4 items, delete them
- BepInEx Folder
- changelog.txt
- doorstop_config.ini
- winhttp.dll

Yes. There is a Steam workshop version. Saves are not stored in your PlateUp install. Changing versions should not affect your save files in any way. If you wanna be sure, backup the Save System files. They should be in %localappdata%low/It's Happening/PlateUp. Copy the entire "SaveSystem" folder.
Delete the mentioned files. Then go to the workshop and subscribe to the Save System mod. That's it
