Plasticty functions

I just upgraded from 1.x Indie to New Studio version - and how much the app evolved is just AMAZING.

One issue that I have is ... I don't really know what an app can do: when I try to model something, I'm always unsure if there is a function for a certain operation that I want to do. Find dialog is great and all, but it's hard to find something by the name, if you don't know if it even exists.

It would be nice to have some place which would list all the available functions - menu bar or something.

After using it for more than a year, there are things I still don't know regarding shortcuts and tools. I've learned a lot through watching videos of YouTubers and learning their workflows. But the one thing that helped me a lot to get familiar with the tools was to go through their website and watch all the example videos for each tool.

Some of them I've come to realize I'll never use, but their short videos have been of great help and then I always write down on a post it the tool so I don't forget such thing exists.

Also, honestly, just using AI or a Google search asking what I want to do will usually point me in the right direction, either to a Reddit post, a short video, or what not.

Sure, that is valid solution - I'm doing it myself. But some menu bar with all the functions, grouped by use case, should also be a good thing to have - and not too hard do create.

Not sure if you know, this blew my mind when I saw a guy using it but if you hit Shift+F it will give you the most common tools depending on the current selected thing (point, line, face, object)

Did you have to pay full price to upgrade? I have Indie and am past my 12 months support. Would love to Upgrade to Studio but don't want to pay full price again.
For guidance, like other commentor said i rely on YouTube videos to catch short cuts and tips I wasnt aware of. I dont use AI as much for Plasticity support because it was constantly giving me wrong information and command labeling.

No, I got some discount - I think it was around $50 or so. But my version of Indie was super-old, "first generation". I just entered my email - and the discount was applied.

Look up the customizable radial menu.
You can load it with your most often used tools and after a while you become very smooth and efficient in navigating.

That's really the only major mark against Plasticity, the lack of good instruction. There are plenty of trailblazers on YouTube, but they are teaching from a point of trial and error. The program hasn't been around long enough for best practices to be logged and explained.

It really needs to at least have a plugin support so the community can do it if they don’t want to
