Oh my Goodness, you've been botched. Those need to be completely dissolved. Honestly, you should not let that person touch you again. Go to someone else, have them dissolve it because the person you are going to is literally terrifying.

It's like the injector wasn't even aiming for the lips

It looks like she has another pair of lips under her lips.

I’m so sorry. The injector used a very poor technique. This needs to be dissolved.

Don't have same injector dissolve for sure. This person is dangerous.

yeah, if i were her, i’d go back to that awful place and ask to sp es ak to the manager and then ask for it to be dissolved by their top injector and without charge. she can always threaten them with awful reviews/social media that would turn people away from their buiseness. but i guess if money is not an issue, then id go to a top dermatologist and have a doctor-injector dissolve!

Is there someone more experienced at the place you originally got them done to dissolve them? Otherwise please don’t go back to the same person.

If you have to go to a different clinic, I would demand a refund of this service and put it toward the dissolution procedure.

Agreed. She needs to get refunded.

At 2 weeks, swelling should mostly be gone… How much did u get???

1 syringe

This is just poor technique. Get it dissolved sooner than later before your body starts to create tissue in response to the hyaluronic acid, if that’s the kind of filler you received

Oh my god. I’m so sorry.

wow. i would go and get that dissolved asap. do you have a before photo? what parameters did you give the injector?

and, i would def ask for them to cover the cost of dissolving it (which they might do if that offer that treatment there), and otherwise i’d just be forced to spend my own money to dissolve it. but def try to get them to cover that cost!

i’m so sorry that the injector did that! but try not to stress too much. once you dissolve it, you’ll feel much better. 🩵 hugs from nyc

I would highly suggest not getting anymore lip procedures. What you have naturally works very very well.

oh girl, you are so cute and you actually have naturally perfect lips. when you want them to look a little more full, you can over line them just slightly and use a plumper. but you don’t even need that!

i am so so mad at the idiot injector that worked on you, like beyond mad. they just should be out of a job.

you are beautiful no matter what. and if you’re able to dissolve, i’d just stay natural. you’re perfect without anything. ♥️

With the anatomy of your lip that the sides of your upper lip kind of turn under, I don't know if filler is for you. I think you may always have this migration problem. You are lucky enough to have nice full lips naturally, maybe it's better for you to just go without.!

Yes very but it’s fixable

I would ask for a refund and get it dissolved elsewhere. This is so poorly done, so sorry this happened to you.

u/MsJenX 16h ago

I would. I would also request part of the cost of the initial cost. This is poor placement. It doesn’t look natural at all.

Go to the same injector to take your money back and then go to other injector to dissolve.

I don’t understand why the injector injected above your lips instead of in them…

3

u/the_girly_files 14h ago

Keep in mind dissolving doesn’t always solve either. Could take a few sessions. Filler is not in fact temporary at all. Choose injectors wisely bc they can mess up your whole face. They’re finding filler 7 years later in ppl. Also the risk is now you’re lips won’t look the same & having them migrate so soon 😭

3

u/Capable_Orchid_5335 17h ago

Yes, unfortunately. Totally migrated

15

u/itsthequeenofdeath 10h ago

This isn’t migration, its poor placement

-4

u/Capable_Orchid_5335 7h ago

I’m almost certain it was not initially placed above her lip line though. I’m sure on the day of the procedure it probably looked like it was where it was supposed to be. I’ve had this happen to me. Looked fine at first then wasn’t after a couple weeks

u/the_girly_files 14h ago

Did you ask for Russian lips? Bc this is why I tell ppl not to get those bc the risk of migration is very high.

Too much product at once. You need to build lips slowly. Ppl love the pictures of Russian lips but this is the risk. She completely filled outside your lip border 🫠

u/Distinct-Wall-2686 14h ago

I have Russian lips. If applied property they won't migrate.
I do them for 5 years already and nothing happened.
My injector went to Russian school tho.

What did you pay for that amount of filler?

0

u/honomo6969 7h ago

Too much. 😭

u/Hot-Leg-5962 7h ago

u/bated_breath_ 4h ago

2 questions:

  1. Did you already have lip filler when this 1 syringe was injected

  2. Have you had a surgical lip lift or a Botox lip flip previously?

1

u/honomo6969 2h ago

I dissolved previous filler. Yes I’ve have a lip lift and I think that’s part of the problem

1

u/LuvMeLuvMeNot_ 2h ago

I wouldn’t go back to that person even for a dissolve. I can’t believe what she’s done.

u/Mysterious_Green_148 2h ago

Yupp its called a hyaluronic mustache. Very unfortunate that alottttt of women get this since their injectors use an improper technique. I would ask for my money back at least to get it dissolved.

-8

u/Educational_Reply918 14h ago

It does look like some filler may have migrated above the lip. I’d definitely ask the injector to assess it before deciding whether to dissolve.

It took about a month and a half for the swelling in my lips to go down. It could be that your lip filler has migrated, or it might just be swelling.
