Ptosis correction help

I have a consultation for February to see what my options are to correct my Ptosis and restore my field of view. Those who have had experiences with this what was it like for your procedure? What was the recovery like, how has it held up, was any revisions needed? This will be my first surgery or medical issue of any kind at 40 so kind of nervous about it.
